      We purchased an 05 ***** Colorado from Sheffield Motors in April of 2022. We have had the truck for about 4 months (**** miles) when we needed to take it to a mechanic. The shop we took it to informed us the rear frame is broken. The frames was rusted out and the mechanic said this could not have happened in the 4 months that we had it. We were sold a totaled car. We called Sheffield Motors to ask for a refund. The owner answered, said he had to talk to his mechanic. I was called back and told to bring it to a shop in *******. We dropped off the truck on Friday 8/19/22 at the shop we were told to. I call the dealer later that day for an update. All he tells me is he will take care of it and hangs up. The following Monday I call again asking how extensive this repair is. I expressed that it was not worth fixing and to save everyones time and money lets just do the refund. He says he has our car in ********, ** getting repaired. We dropped it off in *******. Never told ** he was moving it to another shop. I said I dont think this can be fixed. He assures me its taken care of. Skeptical of this fix, I asked if its still broken, if I could get the refund. The dealer states if we get a second opinion from a shop saying that its still broken we can get our refund. Wednesday we get a call its ready to get picked up. We pick it up and the owner is not there. We can already see its not fixed. We stick with our plan, went to our mechanic to get the second opinion. I call Thursday telling the owner of Sheffield Motors that it was not fixed and wanted to arranged a time for a refund. He then denies that was the plan. This car is not safe to drive. The frame is literally being held together by the leaf springs. He tells us he paid for a repair and that he wants to see it. We are skeptical he is willing to take care of it since he has yet so far. We have to drive 50 minutes one way to get there and believe hes trying to get us to break it while driving to avoid fault.

      we fixed the frame. they wanted us to return it and I said you can't return it thats the policy after 24 hours but i offered to fix it and I did fix it

      they took it to DMV investigator and i showed him all the receipt and he said I am good and did my job
