I do not have a contract with Tri - State Adjustments **** Tri - State Adjustments *** did not provide me with any supporting/valid information or contract regarding the debt. We received a collection letter from this agency today stating that they are trying to collect a debt we allegedly owe to a company called ***** which from what i have found is either an early learning company or a home management company neither of which we have used. both companies are not located in ************ where we live. i feel as though this agency is trying to scam people out of money by sending fake debt collection letters for debts that do not exist.Business response

I received a notice in the mail on 8/19/2023 stating that I owed ***** to Cumberland Farms for some unknown charge + a 25 dollar late fee. I tried to call them but no one picked up. I do not know what this charge is.Business response

This company spoof calls not revealing there actual number when they call, so it shows up as you cell phone carrier. I get ***** calls a day. You cant block the call because it shows up as account servicesBusiness response

Account ******* I received my first invoice dated September 16, 2022, for C-Pap supplies provided on July 29, 2021. There was no invoice included. ******** has ALWAYS paid for my supplies.The September 16, 2022, invoice in the amount of $184.00 was sent MORE THAN A YEAR after the supplies were received. I talked to "*****" on October 4, 2022. He said a claim had not been filed but would do so. I talked to "***" on October 17, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. He said the claim had been filed and my account was on hold until further correspondence from the insurance company.I never received any further calls about the claim. Only calls repeatedly saying I owed money. I could not understand the employees calling me and they could not understand my dilemma. I receive invoice every two weeks. The calls never stop. The results are always the same.A $15.00 late fee has been added..I wrote a letter on December 30, 2022, to ***************** Medical dba, AeroCare *** at P.O. Box *****, *********, **** 28272-1249 which was the address on the website.No response to my letter. Instead, I received notification from Tri-State Adjustments, a debt collector. The account number in this letter is shown as ********. The account on all the invoices is *******. What's the deal here?Thank you for your assistance.Business response

They are trying to collect on a debt and ordered a judgment against me without prior collection efforts. All of their correspondence was sent to a business I have no affiliation with and is now closed. I know this because they had to ask me what my home address was. They agreed to a payment plan, but refuse to put something on paper stating they are agreeing, and where the funds will be applied. On top of all of this feeling very shady, they are some of the rudest people I have ever spoken with.Business response

I declare under penalty of perjury (under the laws of the *************, if executed outside of *****************) that the foregoing is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. Further, I certify that I am permitted by FEDERAL and STATE LAW to file this dispute. I also understand that knowing and willful misstatements or omissions of material facts constitutes a FEDERAL CRIMINAL VIOLATION punishable under 18 U.S.C. ****. Additionally, these misstatements are punishable as perjury under 18 U.S.C. ****. This item found within my credit report is not related to any transaction that I made. I am alleging that a person or company - without my authorization- used my personal identifying information to apply for goods, services, or money; and was successful in creating this account. This debt collector is in violation for putting this unknown account on my credit report. This has caused me to suffer and its defamation of my character.Moving forward I would like you to stop reporting to all credit reporting agencies that I owe any amount to your company. Remove all false debts from my reports ASAP. I will also like your company to mail me via postal mail all the changes have been made or attempted to be made within 10 days of this complaint. I demand to be compensated as well for pain and suffering.Business response
