Initial work to remove motor 10/5/21; install new motor 10/14/21; Charged and paid $757.45; In initial phone discussion, **** was told motor would be around $200. When **** was received, we were charged two trip charges = $105; Labor for removal and install = $138.50; and we were charged for 1.5 hours for the employee to pick up the part from another store that they chose to use = $159. Dispute is being doubled billed for labor/trip charge and for being billed $159 for business to pick up a motor where they chose to get it. The transparency and honesty was nil. When **** called to find out why this happened and what could be done, there was no offer to fully explain or resolve this. 10/04/21 - A call came in from *********************** regarding his blower motor is out for his wood burning boiler.
10/05/21 Al, our technician,went to the owners home to diagnose the problem, removed the blower from the boiler because it was bad. This was ******** made, Al wanted to try and find an exact match. He told the homeowner that this could take some time.
10/06/2021 Al took the bad blower motor to ******* Electric to see if they were able to order the motor. The other places Al looked, did not have an exact match, so he searched for a motor that would work, which brought him to ******* Electric. Al called the homeowner to let him know that he found a blower that would work. The only estimate that was verbally given to the homeowner was the cost of the boiler blower, which was $200.00. Al discussed that this is a time and material job. The homeowner told Al that he needed to speak to his wife regarding this, as the boiler has a crack in it and he wanted to discuss if it were worth fixing.
10/14/21 Al was scheduled and went to ****************** residence to install the boiler blower. The homeowner was home and satisfied.
The complaint stated that they made payment. We did not receive any payment. If so, if they could present a posted check,we would definitely look into that. Also,the complaint states that a call was made regarding this invoice. We do not have any documentation of them calling to dispute their invoice. All disputes are documented on clients accounts. We investigate, talk with technicians and try to work with all of our customers.
10/05/2021 Trip Charge $70.00 and $79.50 for labor ( removing the blower from the boiler).
10/06/2021 NO Trip Charge $159.00 for labor, searching and researching the right blower for the boiler.
10/14/2021 Trip Charge $35.00 (50% for 2nd trip) $159.00 Labor to install the blower onto the boiler.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am a bit confused. The response says they havent been paid and dont have any documentation that **** called. I had already mailed the payment and that is why I marked the paid section.What are they actually offering? Im not sure what Im accepting. No acknowledgement of anything on their end.Please help me understand further if you can. I have never filed a complaint before but really didnt want this happening to others as trusting as **** is.Please advise when you can.Thank you.Michelle
