      About a year and half ago i purchased a truck from river state new truck Drove it back home to ******** and parked for about 6 months i have another truck to drive Since i started driving the truck noticed electrical issue which occurs only if i drive in the rain. Abs traction control light comes on. And stays on for atleast 3 to 4 days sometimes a week and that abs and tc light causes the transmission not down shift. I have to manually downshift if i am slowing down or coming to complete stop. Since i live 6 hours away from my River states in the year of 2023 i had the light on went to rivers state. I was told warranty expired. I will have to pay for hourly labor. I agreed and paid. Left the facility same day drove only 30 miles the issue came back. Called ************************* sent him pictures since i didnt have time i couldnt go back. Was told it could be abs harness it could cost me about 4 to 7 thousand dollars. Went to another mechanic spent almost 1500 to fix the issue they said it could be abs modulator valve under 5th wheel. Drove in rain 4/12/24 lights came back on . Very disappointed and need help fixing this issue i cannot afford to keep spending money until some one finds out the issue. Truck had warranty and still has I believe ..

      Customer was contacted regarding this complaint.  4/17/24
      ******** stated he is upset because he has taken his truck to several other dealers, and they have not helped him get the issue corrected. One dealer told him to take it back where he bought it. He told us that he is very happy that our service department is taking care of him. He said they have been so nice, and they are listening to his needs, and he was very appreciative. We assured him that we will do everything in our power to get his issue handled. 

      4/18/24 - Customer's ********************** was completed .  Customer was very pleased when he left the dealership.

      4/19/24 - Customer was called to follow up to make sure his truck was running as it should be.  He had driven about 150 miles and everything was working perfectly.  He apologized for getting the BBB involved and he said he would get that issue resolved. He said that he was very pleased with our staff, they were very pleasant to deal with, and he was very appreciative of them for getting his truck fixed.
