We had been struggling with what we thought was one skunk living in our crawlspace for months (our dog had been skunked twice!). The skunk smell was coming into the house and was super unpleasant. We decided to set a trap and within a day we caught our first skunk - AAAC Wildlife came out to collect the skunk and they advised us to set the trap again (where there's one skunk, there's usually a few!). We caught another skunk two days later. We set the trap one more time and caught a raccoon. AAAC came out every time we called. We were advised to remove all of these critters due to the spread of disease and danger to our dogs. It was great to work with them, especially Tim! We learned a ton about wildlife in the area and the prices AAAC charge are super reasonable, especially compared to some of the other places we contacted.

I would not recommend AAAC Wildlife Removal. They responded quickly and performed the work they said they would, but the cost of it is outrageous. I had seen a bat under our vinyl, and when we were having our vinyl replaced, I thought it would be a good time to seal up any cracks and holes where bats might enter the attic. They spent about 20 minutes to do an estimate ($99) from the ground, because the estimator "doesn't do ladders." Then they sent out a very nice, 20ish year-old to do the actual work. He spent 1 hour and 35 minutes filling holes and positioning a bat excluder. The total bill was $1,486 for just under 2 hours of work! Oh, and the whole time the estimator was at my house there was a live raccoon in a trap in the back of his pickup truck. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE AAAC Wildlife Removal

The price of the work was discussed and agreed on prior to the start of the work. No questions were asked of us regarding cost when the work was scheduled. Yes, the technicians who do the work are younger but highly educated and trained in this line of work. Our prices are fairly standard if not lower than most companies that do bat exclusions. Regarding the raccoon in the trap, one of the services we provide is humane live trapping. He had just picked up the raccoon from another job prior to yours and to stay on schedule for your inspection, he had not made it out to our property to release the raccoon. The animal was not harmed in any way.Customer Response

It is not true that no questions were asked about the price. I asked why the website said "$300 and up" for a ranch house in good shape, and what would $300 dollars actually get you? When my builder opened the vents and looked for evidence of bats and found none, I called ******* back and asked if it would be cheaper if we skipped the excluder ( I had also had our builder put one up the previous day) and she said it wouldn't. If the estimator had not been afraid of using a ladder, he would have been able to tell that there were no bats inside, and I probably would have declined having the work done at all. I realize I am not going to be reimbursed for this service, but want to warn people that $1485 for an hour and a half of filling holes is obscene. I think they take advantage of the fact that people are freaked out by bats and just want their house to be free of them.
