I was sold a defective ebike. I have left a review explaining the situation.Business response

We sold this customer an electric bike on May, ********. Somewhere around May 20th the customer contacted our shop to report an irregularity with their e-bike. We asked them to bring the bike into our service shop so we could get it assessed and back into proper working order. The e-bike was checked over by our service techs and they recommended a part be replaced. The e-bike was repaired and returned to the customer on or around May 21st. We have not heard from the customer since and would assume everything is in proper working order. The customer is welcome to bring the e-bike into our shop so we can get it properly assessed. We would also recommend they contact their sales person if they wish to exchange for a different bike. We are friendly, reasonable people and here to help but can only help if an issue is brought to our attention. Some dates are approximated due to the time that has passed.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I in fact did call the Monday after I picked up my bike and spoke to one of the repair techs. He was going to let my salesperson know the situation and ****, who was my salesperson, was going to call me back. After not hearing from **** for a couple days I called back. I explained the situation to whomever answered the phone. I asked this person about a return policy and he told me any returns were to be made within 10 days of purchase. However he did not want to give me the wrong information so passed me along to the ** which was ****. I again explained the situation to **** and he was going to talk to **** *************** and **** was going to call me back. If **** did call back, he did not leave a message. I would have loved to exchange this ebike but I was told I could not. If you tell me you'll call me back, I expect a call back. I shouldn't have to keep calling. My number is ************. And now the other day the bike shut down and gave me an error code 21.

Hello,
We are unable to commit to an exchange without properly assessing the bike at our shop. If the bike is in new condition and free of damage including cosmetic defects, we will exchange the bike. In any other scenario we will prioritize a repair of the bike. Please bring your bike to our shop at your convenience.
