I had my engine serviced at this place. Because of a delayed pick up, they charged me a crazy amount of storage fees. They were not willing to even consider to discuss a compromise. In fact they were very mean from the beginning, even used inappropriate offensive language and threatfull behaviour. Because it was not in my league, to deal with this kind of inappropriate and aggressive behaviour, I paid the full balance. I asked them to give me an appropriate receipt for the storage cost, but they refused and instead they scribbled on my previously signed service contract, which already had my signature on. I am requesting an appropriate receipt for the storage fees for the engine and I am asking the BBB to help with that, because of fear for **************** by the Mazanet company's owner.Business response

The customer dropped his motor off for winterization on October 6th, 2021. He did not pick his motor up until August 6th, 2022. We have set prices for winter storage (which is November 1st to May 1st) and gave him a prorate for the remainder of the months that it was in storage. The only time inappropriate language or threatful behavior was used was when the customer put his hands on *** to prevent him from moving the motor back into storage until the customer paid his balance. If the customer would like to have it on a storage contract, we can write one up and have him sign that. Although, I do not see the benefit of that seeing the signed work order for the ************ that storage would be added after 10 days.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Please type your response here.]I reviewed the response of the business. They should not distort the sequence of events. They turned the engine over to me and I took possession of it. At no moment had I put my hand on the owner ***, but in fact he forced the engine back from me, because they suddenly did not want to accept my payment with credit card. They requested me to go to a bank first and provide cash or cashiers check for payment, which I complied with. I paid the entire balance in cash. In the sequence of all this the owner *** engaged into aggressive and inappropriate language and potentially violent behavior. I am still requesting an appropriate receipt or documentation for my storage fees, but I would not go there in person again, because of fear for violent aggression from the business owner. They should send the document to the BBB, from where I could retrieve it. Thank you
