Family Conect Insurane Company employes are brain washd puppets! They encourage peple to drive like IDIOTS! I had wrek and it ws not my fault but ws told tht it does not matter how fast the other driver ws going! Fatal crashes are ging up and insurace cmpanies and police departments are th blame! They make victims th cause and no investgtion takes place!

Me and my husband started out with America Family Insurance with a $160 Insurance policy full coverage on two cars , for the both of us. We have been with American family for the past Three years with no accidents , traffic violations or insurance claims ect. Our rates have continued to drastically increase to a ridiculous amount. We are now paying $319 a month with no justifiable cause . Every time our policy renews it has went up $40-$80. This last renewal it went up close to $80 we were paying 244 and now it’s $319. On top of that to try and get our Rates lower we had to increase our deductible to $1000 just to take off $20-$40. They didn’t do anything on their end to get their rates lowered they made us fix it on our end by increasing our deductible. I do not recommend getting insured with American family . We also have our homeowners insurance that was supposed to lower our car insurance rates and they pretty much scammed us on that making us think that if we purchased homeowners insurance with them , We would get a better rate with our car insurance, which never happened. Instead of getting better rates, they’ve kindly increased our insurance every renewal almost doubling our insurance from the time we started. Thanks, American family for your unethical business. I feel they do not value their customers . I will be looking for A new insurance company for my house in both my vehicles

American Family takes your money but will not help you when making a claim. They only did partial of my roof ; so I have a partial roof thats new and the a partial that is 10 years old. Ive had other insurance since 1975 and never experienced such a horrible experience. I was ill for 5 months and asked them to extend the due date for the claim. They would not extend it. They have no compassion, and are very rude. I advise everyone not to purchase American Family Ins.

My agent is great but people in the home office do not listen, do not care, do not try, do not fix their mistakes, rude, and will not try to even solve my complaints about their staff. All to do with an accident report that a rooky cop filled out and corrected latter. I asked to have my records updated. they refused because they closed the case that leaves a blemish on my record that is false. I am changing Insurance companies.

I have been spammed a lot from American Family agent Lindsey******************** in the state of *******. She continually harassing me and is pressing me to purchase insurance. She told me she will ruin me when I replied that I was not interested. Do not buy from American Family EVER! This agency is a joke! I told her never to contact me again and then she continues to spam me!

I was rear ended by one of American family insured a couple of weeks ago, the driver drove off I caught up with him and jumps out say take a picture of my insurance card do I did and also took pictures of his plates and vechile. The collision damage was minimal just some scratches. So contact American family about it and they tell me that the insured said he hit me in a golf cart and wanted pictures so I send pictures of the insurance card the vechile and the driver and they have the police report. So they denied the claim saying they believe what the driver told them. So i was that doesnt make sense when he gave me his insurance card and I sent you pictures of him and his truck. Then they tell me to go through my insurance company. Stay away and hope you dont get hit by a American family customer.

I've been paying for home insurance for years, only time I needed them they left me high and dry to fix storm damage on my own.

I have been a customer of theirs for 7yrs with 4 vehicles and 2 RVs on my policy. We have a couple of commuter vehicles and a couple vehicles that are newer. Due to this, I make sure to keep Roadside Assistance, Glass coverage, and full insurance on one of the vehicles. Over the 7yrs, one vehicle broke down a few times, I had glass chips fixed from rocks on the freeway a couple times, and I had 1 at-fault accident. We paid approx $1500 every 6 months. It wasnt the cheapest or the most expensive but never had problems. Then..out of no where, we just got a letter that says, due to the amount of claims we are not renewing the policy..Really, thats why we paid for the coverage due to certain coverage and/or scenarios. AND, I called corporate because the letter said, it was the local agents decision, so we contacted the local agent and he told us it was a corporate decision. So, moral of the story, do NOT sign up with them unless you want to be left high and dry when you actually need them. Thank you.

Payed all my monthly payments for around $300 a month for 6 months of minimum coverage. Changed credit cards and insurance so stopped paying it after my last month was payed. Then month later received an owed check of $274 out of thin air that I do not owe. No one at amfam gave me a straight answer and all 3 said different **** Still dont know the reason. Decided Id pay it before it goes to collections. Have been tight on money atm so I asked to have a payment plan and they accepted $69 a month and that was that. Hour later they call me and say that wont work they want the full amount immediately. Lady was a complete ***** about it so I said ok and hung up. Had it sent to collections and have now had multiple ****** **** ***** call me asking for small payments to make it go away one asked for $400 LMAO. This company are scammers and will sell your info to scammers if they dont get their way. Time to repair my credit.

American Family will find you at fault for accidents no matter what. I got rear ended at a stoplight two years ago and they found me at fault. Two weeks ago a driver pulled the emergency brake on the road and I swerved, just barely clipping the side of their car. Despite the other driver having no license or insurance, American Family was all too happy to pay out to them and find me at fault again. So if you are rear ended, it's your fault no matter what. If another driver breaks multiple traffic laws, you are also at fault. Choose literally any other insurance company. This one is clearly a scam masquerading as a "business".
