      Absolutely fraudulent. False advertisement. Does not represent its clients when out for work. Denied claim. Approved claim because at first it stated I didn’t have 14 or more days out of work. Proved that was a lie. Submitted all documents. Sonia from Wisconsin went back in to deny the claim because my employer does not institute job descriptions. Please cancel my coverage immediately and refund any monies paid towards this fraudulent company. If not, I will begin litigation/class action lawsuit. Sent to Trustage and Requested a Refund for Monies Paid Out…Waiting for a response. I am available for a class action lawsuit. This is false advertisement. I provided you with all medical documentation. I provided you the number to my employer. Job descriptions are not available. This organization does not operate as such. For you to deny my claim is absolutely wrong.

      No matter how many times I call and try to cancel this insurance policy. I stay on hold forever. Theres nothing I can do. They just wont cancel it. No matter what no customer service when it comes to canceling

      My wife has ************** insurance through TruStage. She originally had it through CMFG Life Insurance *** which was acquired by TruStage. TruStage claims it is highly rated by different agencies, Trust Pilot, etc. This company does not accept premium payments online! Paper Checks have to be sent through the US Mail. How can a company in the 21st century do business like this. If I wasn't "locked in" to TruStage for my wife's LTC insurance, we would have changed to another, more progressive company.

      I can't call TruStage the worst insurance company I've dealt with, but it is a very close second to the company that cost me my house (made me temporarily homeless) by refusing to pay a fire claim. I have repeatedly called TruStage about not being able to log into my account for 2 months because it will not change my old phone number. I called from the new number and was assured each time the change was made. It was not. It is taking out my monthly payment from my bank account in an absurdly prompt manner compared to the way it delays your ability to communicate with it, but will not let me log in to change beneficiaries because it refuses to use said new phone number. Victims - er, customers - cannot log in without the "special security text code." Mine are being sent to gods know who, they are not coming to me because TruStage lies about updating changes to accounts. I hope the person with my old phone number who gets these texts gets mad enough to tell it to cancel my insurance. I am calling the bank and telling it to stop payment on the auto-pays because TruStage is a complete scam! Like many of the other complainants here, I am a disabled senior citizen. If I am forced to cancel this policy (which will probably not pay out anyway, given the hardship TruStage puts its victims through just to make a simple change) I will not be able to find more life insurance. "FALSE Stage" is not on the up and up and deserves 0 stars for its poor business practices. My advice: Stay Away From TruStage! If you are stuck with it like I am, block the auto-pay at your bank, use the US ************** to send it an old-fashioned paper check and let the payment get there when it gets there. TruStage will probably drop you at that point, but it is only in business to steal your money anyway. So, BBB, why is TruStage rated A+ right above your statement that it is not accredited? You need to remove that ***! I suggest replacing it with an F-minus.

      This company after I called serval times did not remove me off of this plan for 30 dollars a month for a family plan .I expressed to these people that I don't have any young kids my kids are all over the age of 29 they still kept taking the payments out of my account . This company is bad scam for the credit union they need to change that

      This is the worst Insurance company i ever experienced. I'm a member of a credit union and the credit union offers insurance on your loans through a third party company TRU STAGE. I'm disabled and cant work anymore. i called trustage and my credit union also filed a claim to help me on my loans. Trustage told me that they need to contact SSA. SSA told them to send them a check for them to release the information they needed for my disabilitly . I had to call SSA to find out what going on and Trustage tells me they are still waiting for the information. This poor excuse of a sorry company should not even be in business at all cause they wont help their customers. also these idiots keep sending me forms for accidental and life insurance but they cant do or take care of my claims. . 6 months now , i call them for status, they still waiting for letter from SSA. Trustage need to change their name to FALSE STAGE . they do nothing instead sit on their butts drinking coffee and donuts all day.!!! DONT DESERVE NO STAR !!

      Not user friendly.Not customer friendly.Can not contact responsible parties for this company.Can not service, maintain or make changes to the account, either by internet or by phone.I made the account through my credit union.I pay for the account.I was not notified that they were going to take money out of the account.I went in to change the time of payment and the manner of payment and was not able to.They told me to tell my husband to call......He did. He wasn't able to correct or change the account either.After many phone calls and requests for paperwork to be able to change account settings, we are still waiting.I do not want to think what would happen if we actually had to use this insurance.We no longer want this policy.I now have to take action to secure my account.No star would be my rating.

      I would also leave a 0 instead of 1. I purchased this policy almost eight years ago. He sold ** a 15 year policy. We have paid way over$10,000 on mine and Almost $7000. On my husband who will be cremated. I called the other day and paid almost $2000. to change into a ten year policy. I received a letter today saying my face value is $8681.I have never worked with an insurance policy the way they are handling my policy.. I will call the BBB. I finally got someone on the phone. I will still owe $5364. On my $8681 policy. My monthly payment has gone up$25.00 a month. Tell me this is the right way to treat seniors. This is not a whole life policy. The refund I am getting from my husbands cancellation is $600.01 after paying $7000.

      There isn't a number low enough to rate them. All I want - literally all I want - is assurance that they will pay the policy upon the death of my mom. They are impossible to contact, and they have made me - her son, the POA - feel like a criminal every step of the way. Their 'legal team' takes 4 business days to receive a fax, and then - four days later - the form is magically lost or incomplete. I have been trying to get ahead of helping cover my mom's post-death expenses, and now, while she dying imminently and not likely to live past the weekend, they gave me another 'four days, and we'll get to it'... I have tried so many times, wasted so much precious time that I'd rather spend with my mom. And, to top if off, I asked to talk to a supervisor, who literally just stopped responding to me... just stayed on the line saying nothing at all until I hung up. Awful. Please avoid this company. I am not unconvinced they are a scam company, stealing people's money.
