      Great Service, Kyle got me approved for my 1st car a 2019 Toyota Corolla. We shopped at a few stores and found the right price on the right car at Stark. Glad I found them on ********. Would recommend this place to my friends and family.

      -10 rating The owner misrepresented a car I bought, found on CarGurus. Not truthful is an understatement. I am going to obtain legal counsel. I have pictures and recordings of prebought vehicle and what I received . Scam artist

      I am making an update on my initial review on Stark on the Beltline. After contacting my lender and DMV Wisconsin, Stark on the Beltline did purchas the 2016 ****** Forester back. I was able to recover most of the money I have been out on this ordeal

      We bought a vehicle from them. There were issues with the infotainment system so it was put into the contract that they would fix it. We took it in on a Tuesday, got the call that it was fixed and picked it up on Wednesday, it sat until Monday due to the holidays and then on Monday when it was driven the issues were back and worse than ever. When we called to tell them it wasn't fixed (turning off and on randomly regardless of if the vehicle was being driven or sitting off and parked). They were rude and said that we had to take the key out of the ignition (it's a push start) and lock the car to turn it off. We stated that it's not fixed and it's in the contract to fix it. They said they can put a kill switch on it to prevent it from turning on when it's parked (doesn't solve the issue of it turning off when we want to use it). When we went in to ask it get fixed they told us they had fixed it. We said it's not and we've only had the car for 3 weeks at this point. Their response was "it's a used car, what do you expect?" And when we said they're not honoring their contract and we could take them to small claims the owners response (with a salesman in the back hyping the owner up swearing up a storm) was "Get the f*** out of my shop and never come back". When we went to leave he asked "what do you want" and the only thing we could get to try to make it right was a $250 check (barely half the price of a new system for us to install on our own) and being told to never come back. We left a review on ****** and they called 6 times in 12 hours demanding it get taken down because we "settled". Overall extremely rude, condescending, and borderline scam.

      I purchased a vehicle from them, a Honda Fit, and the sale went well, I felt they were honest with me regarding the single listed issue. I read the paperwork carefully and made sure the vehicle didn't have a salvage title. I took it in for an oil change at my usual mechanic and found out that the entire frame is rusted and so unsafe that the car cannot be put onto a lift for regular repairs or maintenance. In a collision, the car would snap in half at the driver side due to parts of the frame being so rusted that they are almost nonexistent. My technician at Zimbrick was apologetic to bear the bad news, but said the car looked like it had been sitting in water for months and that there was no way this could have been missed. I contacted Stark for a resolution under Wisconsin's consumer protection laws and will provide an update to my review if the issue gets resolved.

      Update 7/12/22: I continue to receive unprofessional service, including belligerence from the owner, and a refusal to provide the results of their inspection in a written form. At this point I have taken the vehicle in for a third opinion to another mechanic. ***** was decent to deal with, the owner and salesperson ******* do not deliver what was promised in text and verbally and are difficult to get in contact with. What could have been a simple exchange has become a headache, and the business seems mired in internal issues if the owner chooses to scream at a customer about how poor another repair shop's business is. Please do not do business here if you are expecting any complications or need future service.

      Update at end of business day 7/12/22: I had the ***** Fit thoroughly looked over by a third mechanic at West Town Tire, who determined it is safe to drive and can be put on a lift. The wear and tear was determined to be typical of cars in *********, and may be an issue in the future but do not currently impact the safety of the car. ******* did resume regular, professional contact with me regarding this issue and I would consider the parting on good terms. If you purchase a vehicle from this business have it inspected elsewhere first, and prepare for a long road on any future issues. In their defense, they did provide a car in my price range during a national shortage and I would not have been able to find one in my budget elsewhere, and these types of issues do occur with used cars. It is only the communication and level of customer service that left a bad taste in my mouth at the resolution of this issue.
