On June 24th, 2023, I took my dog in for her yearly exam. They found her liver numbers too be high (potentially from the medication they were giving her) and changed her to a different medication. We set and confirmed an appointment for August 11th to have the bloodwork redone and rechecked to see if it was the meds or if its cancer. On Saturday, July 1st they woke me up at in inappropriate time (7:30am) to remind me to give my dog her new medicine: which was already known. I asked them to not text or call me before 8am or Id have to press stop to their automated texts. They accused me of being disrespectful and aggressive towards their staff for saying the word ******** when replying to their bot. They told me Im not allowed to even contact them. Theyve been her vet her entire life and shes in her last days. I wont have money to go to another vet until payday (this Friday). My dog is sick now! I begged for diarrhea meds. The yearly exam fee includes meds for the following year. Theyre not honoring that and bailing on my dog when they know what tests needed to be done. A new vet wouldnt. Ive begged them for days to reconsider and explained I just didnt want to be woken up before 8am on my day off and I was texting their bot- not a person. Nothing said was disrespectful or aggressive. They said I had multiple grievances and thats a lie: I only had one: calling me before 8am. They said I wasnt satisfied with them and thats why Im not allowed back. And why they wont honor the yearly exam fee I paid for already. My dog has suffered for 2 days now as they refused to help in any way. I want my money back from the last visit if I have to find a new vet- just for diarrhea medicine! Please help. Theyre basically killing my dog. Leaving me high and dry after paying them $285 for what would of included any meds for up to a year. If I am not getting that I shouldnt have to pay for it. They failed to render a service that was paid for. This is misconduct.
