On Thursday, 09/22/22, I took my dog, Indigo to the vet for incontinence. The vet prescribed a drug and said that the prescription would be emailed to me later that day. No prescription was emailed. I contacted the vet on Friday and they said they would take care of it and call me back. No call back. Saturday, I called and they said they couldn't email it to me and that I had to pick it up in person or get it through their pharmacy online. I attempted to get the medication through the pharmacy online and there was no prescription available. I called the vet back and they said to come in Monday to pick up the paper prescription. I decided to place an order through Chewy.com because the medicine is much less expensive there. The vet denied the prescription. Today (Monday 9/26/22), the vet called and said I have to pick up the actual prescription through them and that they won't allow a paper prescription. I live an hour away from this vet and am not able to just drive up there during the week and during the vet's hours. The vet should have told us that the prescription is only available through their pharmacy and made sure it was available online. Now, my dog has no medicine and is urinating all over my house. I need her medicine now. They are not handling it appropriately and I am tired of the hoops they are having me jump through to help my sick animal.
