      I am not proud that my first-ever BBB complaint is the first to be filed against this business. In late summer 2022, Villani Landshapers performed landscaping in the ******* Hollow common areas. To plant a small tree, their crew unnecessarily drove their truck over my lawn, without permission, and left two significant ruts in my lawn, without reporting the damage. The issue was reported to ***** St. ******* (client service representative) last year, and he received a picture of the ruts and visited my property to see them himself. In his e-mail response he stated, "The ruts look like they lead right to a tree we installed. The crew shouldn't have taken the truck onto the turf at all, sorry about that." We agreed that spring 2023 would be the best time to repair the damage.On April 28, 2023, Mr. ****************** informed me that he expected his crew to be out to fix the damage within two weeks. Due to lack of repair and lack of communication, I followed up on May 26, 2023. Mr. ****************** vaguely responded that his crews are very far behind and that I am on their list. I am following up with *************** again today, June 14, 2023, and informing him about this BBB complaint.I want the damage repaired, and until then, I want specific communication (with dates, my place in line, etc.) regarding Landshapers' plan to complete the repair.

      First, I would like to apologize for your experience with Villani Landshapers. The level of responsiveness and communication that you describe is certainly not what we expect of our team. The client service representative that you reference, ***** St. *******, is no longer employed with our company. We also continually work with our field crews on training them in all aspects of their jobs including how to judge where to drive on a client's property. Going forward, the point of contact for your account will be *******************, the Maintenance Branch Manager. ***** has already reached out to you to discuss the best timing for your turf repair project. Please reach out to ***** directly if you have any further questions regarding the project; he will be sure to keep you apprised of the plan as it progresses. If you are not satisfied with the communication or current state of your project, please reach out directly to the office at ************.

      I wanted to provide an update. I have been in contact with ******************* of Landshapers to resolve my complaint. Because the resolution will involve growing grass, we decided to defer the repair work to the fall when the temperatures are cooler (probably September).
