We purchased a pool from pool park around January 2021, we finally had the pool installed mid July 2021. We closed the pool in October 2021, and had Pool Park do the closing as we have never owned a semi-inground pool prior. Fast forward to April 2022 and we noticed that all the water was drained from the pool and side were buckled in! We contacted Pool Park to find out what could have possibly happened over winter with the liner. I had spoke with Mark, who explained under no circumstances is the liner under warranty unless there is a rip in the seam, eluded the blame was on us. Mind you this is prior anyone coming out and doing an official inspection of the pool. The conversation was pretty heated by this time, as I paid thousands of dollars for this pool and everything else that goes to the installation, he said to me, “perhaps we should talk when I’m more rational”, this is a brand new pool! His tone with me was very condescending and rude. I was pretty upset with him and the call did not end well. I then apologized to the owner for my excitement regarding my brand new pool to get things back on track to rectify this situation. I spoke with Mark again 10 days later, he again explained no warranty unless the seam is ripped, fine, I said and he sent 2 people out to take a look. They pointed out an L shaped rip 2, 3 inches long, and said that was the culprit and I told the guys I want a full inspection of the liner as there are still huge chunks of ice in the pool and there’s no way I want to commit to a patch, since we need to know the full scope of the winter damage as to whether we replace the pool liner or just patch it. Needless to say Mark never followed up with me. I called Mark back at the end of the week and I started to tell him we want a full inspection of the liner, he and I no sooner said that and he started blasting me for sending those guys away!
