I bought a used car. Brought it in for a check up to make sure I didnt buy junk. They came back with saying that the only thing that was wrong was the shocks and struts. Even though the check engine light was on. I was planning to fix the check engine light myself and did. Upon fixing the check engine light I realized that there was something wrong with the clutch. I brought it in, they found other problems and quoted me. Then when they gave me a review I found that there was a massive crack in my bumper. That crack was not there when I brought it in. They denied that the crack happened with them, however, they said that they would fix it. Nobody fixes some thing like that if they didnt caused the problem. So they lied to me. Upon completion of the bumper they hit me with my car still isnt driving right and tell me its a transmission related problem. They just called me saying they want another $900 to fix my car and Im already paying them $2800. If they wouldve told me all of this stuff was wrong when I brought my car in a month ago, I would not have gotten any of these fixes. They are bleeding me dry. I still dont have a functional car. I dont know what to do but I feel like Im being taken advantage of. Ive gone to them for years without problem. I dont know whats going on but it seems like they are just throwing parts at my car and hoping that it works. I would not have gotten my car fixed had I known all these problems were wrong. They are nickel and diming me out of everything and charging me for things that they messed up! I am never going back, but they should make it right!

      Hello,

regarding the complaint issued by *************************** on 3/7/2022.  I have attached her inspection and invoice from both her appointments in December 2021, and Jan/Feb 2022.  I have reached out to ***** directly and could not leave a voicemail as her inbox is full, on 3/7/22.  I did proceed to send her 2 text messages on 3/7/22 asking if she could give me a call or send me a text so we could talk about the concern.  She has not returned my call or text messages as of 3/10/2022.

This is a client that we took care of and went above and beyond for.  She had the use of a Rental Vehicle free of charge during the entire time of her repairs.  We took care of her bumper as it was on our property and if she truly thought that we were responsible for it, we would take care of our client.  The bumper was not something that we believe broke during our care, however as I said she felt that it was done here, and I am not going to let something so trivial ruin a client relationship and trust--So we take care of our clients.  In regards to her bumper that we took care of through Caliber Collision, the bumper was cracked so badly that it actually had broken the radiator support unit.  This could not have happened at our facility as the car was barely drivable when it was dropped off.  The vehicle was driven only by the owners and did not exceed 10 miles per hour in only the parking lot.

As for her Clutch issue, you can't assume your clutch is going to go out in a month and a half when it wasn't causing any issues for the client to have us look into it.  When we got into the clutch replacement we found that the transmission shifting cable was not engaging properly and we were not able to reuse that part, meaning we would need a new part.  This was relayed to the client, and we did not charge any extra labor to install this part for the client.

We wish she would have contacted us in regards to the issue, or even communicate it to us at pick up.  The client put this complaint in a week before she got her vehicle back in full working condition, and she did have a full working rental vehicle free of charge this entire time.  Please feel free to contact me with any other concerns.

      Best Regards,
