I just had the worst experience with "******* lawn care" out of Centennial, CO.I'm giving them one star because it's the minimum allowed to write the review. Zero stars is my actual review.They came out to spread their product om my neighbour's yard, and the product made it all the way to our yard, our organic gardening beds, the dog house, our dog and everything else on the ground in a radius of 15 feet. I documented the aftermath.I politely asked the technician what was he spreading, if there were any chemicals in the pellets, and he got upset, defensive and condescending in his aggressive attempt to explain that, in fact, the pellets are slow release chemicals. Next, I made him aware that the product made it all the way to our yard and garden beds, and he replied: "build a taller better fence if don't want them in your yard" (wrong answer).There was No apology, no offer to remediate the over spreading, basically, no solution.I went out to the sidewalk to take a photo of the company vehicle to get a phone number, because at this point, talking to the tech was going nowhere. He got very upset when he saw my taking photos and video (from our property to the street where he was parked), and started to threaten me with police calls if I didn't stop recording. I didn't. And I begged him to call the police. Then he asked me: "where are you from, I detected an accent". That was the end rope rope for me. He acted like a thug and he looks like one. I video recorded, for my safety, the call he made to his office, and he lied to his boss in front of me, he carefully removed his aggressive, xenophobic and condescending behaviour from our interaction, projecting it on me. I continued to video until he drove away.I WILL be filing a police report against him and ******* lawn care, and I will reach out to management to expose him for what he is, with photos and video.Do yourself a favor, and don't hire this company for your lawn care, they DON'T CARE.

The neighbor's account of what occurred does not entirely match yours - however, we would appreciate it if you supplied the footage you referenced for us to review, as this would help us determine what happened and allow us to address the situation quickly & properly. As Spring approaches, I am sure we will all start working on our landscaping. I want to post a word of caution. DO NOT use the company ******* (*******************************************) . I used to use their service in 2023. It was awful. I still had weeds. ******* would come out and get in his truck and leave 3 minutes later. NO WAY he could have sprayed my entire landscaping. So when I received the email to renew for 2024 on Jan. 23rd, I immediately wrote back and said -- CANCEL my service, I will not be renewing. This was AFTER I had also called at the end of 2023's last service to ensure they knew I was done, not renewing. So when I got the email I was irked and immediately wrote back. Fast forward to last week. I get an invoice in the mail that they had gone out to my PREVIOUS address (a home that is on the market and vacant) and sprayed .... and asked me to pay the bill. It's $57. It's not about the money. I'm paying the bill because their management refuses to do the right thing and zero out that invoice. Used every excuse in the book. I have mailed my $57 in -- it's not about the money. I just don't like being taken my companies that perform poor business practices -- AND hire poor management. There are PLENTY of weed/ spray / landscaping companies out there. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake -- DO NOT USE *******.

After speaking with you, we learned that you sent your cancellation request via e-mail to a company inbox that is not monitored for customer service requests (such as cancellation), which is why the services were not immediately cancelled at the time of your e-mail. However, after looking into this situation, we do agree that you should have been refunded for the renewed application once we were made aware of the fact that you attempted to reach out and cancel, even if we did not receive said e-mail. We will be proceeding with refunding the amount in question for the renewed application. We did have a Manager attempt to reach you in the time since your review to confirm the details of this refund and offer our apologies, but we could not reach you and instead left a voicemail. Regardless, please rest assured knowing that we will be proceeding with your refund & will be using this as an opportunity to learn from. 

Not impressed with their lawn/weed care. Only came out a few times and whatever weed killer they use did not control our weeds. Had them come out for what we thought was our last service but it wasnt and they charged us $121 for a service that didnt meet expectations. I would NOT recommend this company as their fee was not worth the work performed.

We always like to remind our customers that lawn care is not magic - it is an ongoing process that takes time, effort, and proper cultural practices on the part of the homeowner to achieve ideal results. We do offer free reapplications for lawns with extra persistent weeds, however we do require the homeowner to communicate this to us when we aren't on the lawn. Per your review, it looks like you forgot about your renewal for this season. Our program is offered as a continuous service, meaning that we will provide agreed upon services until/unless a customer cancels said service. We communicate this renewal policy on the initial sign up, in our customer welcome packet, and in reminders at the top of each year prior to services renewing.
