      We placed and paid for an order of several items and were then told the major component was back-ordered. We were asked, What do you want to do with the available items? We emailed: Cancel all. Got the response, Oh, we already shipped the chair. Then were told the shipping of that one item would be basically at 100% cost. This is a scam which this company repeats with many customers, according to their negative reviews. They claim you need to be charged for a lift truck. No lift truck was used to deliver the item. We have camera evidence that the delivery person hand-carried the item and literally dropped it at our front gate one foot from a public sidewalk. He did not use a forklift or a trolley or a hand cart nothing all of which we apparently paid for.Also paperwork all over the damaged box said we were to examine the contents and sign a release with the driver. But he dropped the box and ran. We signed nothing. Even though the paperwork on the box says we could asked for an inspection report within 7 days, we called immediately requesting the inspection but were denied that by the carrier, Globaltranz and their representative, T. B., who told us Madison Liquidators (ML) told them it was a drop ship without inspection needed or required. Untrue, according to paperwork on the box itself. When we appealed to ML to make this right, they said we had to pay to have the chair shipped back. PLUS a restocking fee. They offered no other remedy.We have complained to our credit card company and are protesting the onerous shipping charge and the inability to have inspected and refused the item because of damage.

      To clarify, you placed an order for a L shaped desk and an office chair. These are separate items listed on our site and from Different manufacturers, so they ship separately. Additionally, the chair is not proprietary to the desk, so it was not held and shipped. We sent you an email notifying you that the items were on backorder and offering an in stock alterative. You chose instead to cancel the desk 3 days later, which is no problem at all, but when you asked to cancel the desk, the chair had already been shipped. You had indicated you did not have a 53" loading dock during check out, so it was set with a truck that had a Lift Gate included. Inside delivery was an option at checkout, but not something you chose, so the driver would not bring this into your home. We have a "Freight Receiving" page on our site which you can access anytime which go over this kind of delivery and what to expect. We also sent you links to this page on your payment confirmation screen, sales receipt, in an individual email 3 days after refusing you review this page prior to delivery, and again in your email with the tracking information. I'm sorry you're unhappy with the cost of shipping. We did also provide you the freight receipt showing exactly what we paid to get this item to you. When we ship items form multiple manufacturers, our shipping estimates can sometimes not cover the full cost of shipping. We do not typically reach out and ask our clients to pay more, but instead take on this additional cost as part of doing business. If you have video footage showing the carrier hand carrying the item to your door, please send it to us! We can provide this to the carrier and get the lift gate service charges removed and refunded to you. The carrier reached out to us after delivery saying you called them to have them come pick it up because it was too heavy for you to bring into your own home. As far as the inspection goes, the carrier made note on the Delivery receipt which says Delivered to wife. No signature due to safety. Im not sure what youre referring to in regard to the inspection. It is the responsibility of the consignee (receiving party) to inspect the freight and report any damage within the allotted timeframe. The carrier will not do this for you. We've also welcomed you to send it back to us to process as a return. This option is still open. In addition to that, we are working with your credit card company where you filed a chargeback claiming to have not receiving the item in the first place. Again, youre welcome to send this item back in accordance to our return policy.

      My company ordered 2 full office suites from them. They replied that what we ordered was out of stock and and offered an upgrade for a discount but did cost us more. When the product was delivered it was shrunk wrapped and hard to tell if damaged. As we started to unpack their product we found broken product. I sent them pictures immediately this was their final answer." I totally understand your frustration, but we do our best to provide this information prior to receiving and if damage is not noted at the time of delivery, its an uphill battle to get reimbursement on claims like this. Had damage been noted at the time of delivery, which is sounds like you saw, we would have been able to get these items replaced without issue"Do not buy from this company

      On September 20, 2021 Ms. ***** placed an order though our site. We reached out to let her know that the items she ordered were currently on backorder and offered to give her an upgrade at a greatly reduced cost. She agreed, paid the upcharge and the order was shipped. Ms. *****'s order was delivered on 10/13. She signed a delivery receipt where she was given 4 options for delivery condition:-Good Order-Short-Over-DamagedMs. ***** Signed with the box "Good Order" checked.On 10/14 Ms. ***** reached out and said she had damageInitially Ms. ***** said the manufacturer obviously hid the damage and stacked the shipment in a way that it was under shrink wrap, so we reached out the manufacturer, provided the images Ms. ***** sent. The manufacturer then provided us with an image of how the pallet left their warehouse. When we provided that to Ms. *****, she said, "it had obviously been reloaded on a different pallet " and "The wrapping was ripped in areas and saw some of the corners of the boxes were ripped". Ms. ***** was provided with freight receiving instructions multiple times before her shipment arrived. On her original receipt, on her revised receipt and again in her tracking emails. The freight receiving instructions clearly say:-If there is any visible damage you must **** DAMAGED on the delivery Agents receipt.-Damage includes boxes that are crushed, ripped, have holes, scuff marks, shoe prints, or any product falling off palletMs. ***** also messaged us and said they decided to assemble and use the items and would prefer to receive some kind of discount. Based on the images she had provided to us, all of the damaged would have been completely invisible once the desks were assembled. They were scratches located on the underside of a desktop and a cross section (1 of 2) where the drawers connect to the underside of the desk was also damaged. Ms. ***** was given a discount that normally wouldn't be extended unless her order was about 10x the size it was. Because the damage was not properly noted at the time of delivery, and Ms. ***** had already received such a substantial discount on her order, and the damage is invisible upon assembly we were unable to provide any additional discounts in this situation.

      Overpriced, horrible customer service and a waste of money from start to finish. We ordered a reception desk. Once we received it, we realized we didn't need it. There was a charge of $291.51 for return shipping, plus a 30% restocking fee of $265.50 if the desk wasn't picked up in 7 days. After that, there is no refund. Mind you the desk cost only $885 plus shipping of $265.50. After we finally were able to sell off the desk at a much reduced price, we come to find that it wasn't even the correct desk shipped in the first place! We had been shipped a smaller and cheaper desk! Granted, we should have checked the boxes ourselves, but it goes to show you, it's been a horrible experience from start to finish.Not to mention that since I have consulted with office furniture experts who have opinionated that the desk was overpriced to begin with. Now the desk costs even higher than it did back then. A furniture website with a no-refund policy is way too much of a risk when you're spending that kind of money.They are a huge scam. Do not waste your money.

      This order was initially placed in July of 2020. When Delivery was attempted, it was initially refused because the client had discovered that the desk was too large for their space. At that point, we had already shipped the custom order desk to the client and covered the cost of shipping and provided tracking. When we were notified of the refusal, we reached out and explained that this could not be returned to the manufacturer because it was ordered specifically for them, so there would be a restocking fee and there would also be additional shipping charges to return this item if they wanted to do so. They opted to have the shipment re-delivered, which was an additional charge that we did not pass along. In February of 2021, the client reached out to us asking if we buy back old furniture and the information about our return policy was provided again (6 months after initial purchase). At no time did they ever inform us that they received something other than what they ordered and all of our records indicate they were shipped the correct item.The items we sell are commercial grade office furniture that need to be shipped via Freight. We list these shipping and return policies on our site which are available to view both before and after purchase. Orders can be canceled up on this the point they are palletized. Had this client reached out to us anytime prior to shipping to let us know it wasn't going to work, we could have refunded in full. Had they reached out to us in a timely manor and let us know they received an incorrect item, we could have also addressed that. It is now October of 2021 and the increases in Ocean Freight have caused widespread price increases across many, many industries. This is completely beyond our control and we have simply raised prices because costs have increased.
