On 7/5/2022 ****************** purchased a remote Start with Alarm and added Drone Mobile. Customer was very happy and satisfied with the system upon leaving Alarmtronix..

On 9/7/2022 (2 months later) we received a phone call that his doors would not unlock and that he had to have his granddaughter crawl through the back hatch to open the front door for him. We advised him to bring his vehicle to Alarmtronix so we could take a look. When he arrived, ***** looked at the vehicle and based on the system purchased ****************** factory key for his vehicle worked our Alarm and remote start system. The alarm, remote start, and Drone Mobile were working perfect. ****************** factory key would not lock/unlock his doors and the buttons on the inside of the vehicle were not working to lock/unlock the doors either. ***** advised for him to leave the vehicle overnight because we already had a full schedule for the day, but assured him that we would get him fit in because he was concerned and he would take a look at it and would not charge him to do so. ****************** stated that he was not able to leave it with us and would call us back later. We received a call back that afternoon from ******************. He was very upset and yelling. He stated that about an hour after he left Alarmtronix that his vehicle would not start and he had it towed to a dealership. ***** asked him why he had it towed to the dealership and did not bring it to Alarmtronix as requested earlier in the day.****************** did not have an answer for that. ****************** was yelling and stated the dealership said it was our system that caused the issue and that they were going to charge $750 to remove our equipment. ***** told him that he should have brought it here and that he would not charge to look at it. He could even disconnect our equipment to show ****************** that it was not the alarm, remote start, and Drone mobile that caused the issue with his door locks. ***** stated also that if he wanted the system completely removed that he would remove the system at no charge. ****************** refused and said that he already had it towed to the dealership and that he was not bringing it somewhere else. ***** told him that he should have brought it here, but to keep us posted as to what the dealership says and if he changes his mind he can still bring it to us no charge.

On 9/21/22 (2 weeks later) ***************** and his wife came into Alarmtronix. They brought the equipment that was removed along with the paperwork from the dealership. ***** looked over the dealership paperwork and the paperwork stated that the vehicle was "drove in" and later would not start. ***** confronted ****************** and stated that he told us he had to have it towed when the paperwork says it was "drove in" and why didn't he drive it to Alarmtronix instead. ****************** said that was not true and it was towed (although the paperwork clearly says otherwise). ***** again told him that if he would have brought the vehicle to Alarmtronix in the first place that he would not have incurred the additional charge of $750.00 for the removal. ***** said that even though the signed agreement states no refunds that he would be willing to refund 100% of what ****************** paid to Alarmtronix in the amount of $632.89. *************************************** went outside to talk about it and came back in. ****************** and his wife were not happy with that. They wanted the full refund for the Alarmtronix equipment plus half of the removal fee. ***** again advised that he is 100% willing to take care of our equipment, but was not given the chance to look at it or remove it himself for free and was not able to pay for a service that he would have done himself at no cost.

On 9/23 ****************** came back and wanted to talk to ***** without his wife present. He told ***** that he will accept the blame for not bringing the vehicle here first, but still feels that he should receive some compensation for the bill that he had to pay for the removal. He said that he would settle for $200 plus the full refund for the Alarmtronix equipment. ***** again said that he would refund the money for the Alarmtronix equipment and that he did not get a chance to look at the equipment at no charge. ***** even offered a total of $700 to try and please ****************** and he refused.

If ****************** would have left the vehicle at Alarmtronix as recommended none of this would be since he wouldn't have had to bring it to the dealership at all for removal. Alarmtronix could have taken a look and or removed the system at no charge.
