*****'s Auto did not complete work for me regarding cleaning out carbon build-up from EGR ports, which *****'s Auto attempted to perform, but failed to do thoroughly and completely. This carbon build-up and carbon loosened during the attempted removal led to multiple cylinder misfires. I returned to *****'s Auto in hopes of their being able to rectify the problem they caused. During this follow-up visit *****'s Auto installed inferior quality spark plugs in my vehicle which are poor quality and not OEM type spark plugs recommended for ***** cars. *****'s Auto also removed more carbon that was not removed during their first attempt to do so. *****'s Auto stated my car will run fine, but returned my car to me in poor condition in danger of stalling in traffic. I contacted *****'s Auto shortly thereafter and explained that the car was running poorly. I stated I wanted a refund as they released my car to me in terrible condition. I did not receive a response to my refund request. *****'s Auto recommended I have a ***** dealer complete the job. I subsequently paid ************************************** to complete the work *****'s Auto set out to do, but failed to complete. I requested by message on their web site a refund of $380, and have not received a response to this request. ***** went ape in his front office when I politely showed him my bill with documentation from ***************************, for work *****'s Auto should have completed, but didn't. Owner brings up irrelevant issues when I discussed the issues above with him, such as saying I was not scheduled to come in his shop, which is untrue because his worker failed to write down my appointment. He made other false statements to me such as saying I didn't leave the car there over night, but it was never suggested to me I should do so. The owner is a pathological liar.

On 8/18/21 Bretts charged $263.43 to replace my 2014 ***** Cruze cover gasket that I just had done (same repair) one week prior at another shop that failed. They even hand-noted that it was over-torqued so I could get a refund from the first shop. Then a few days later my engine light came on and oil was spewing all over again so I went back to Bretts who re-repaired at no charge but also with no receipt or visit record. From another shop I have an oil change receipt 12/20/21 engine leaking is noted but it wasnt highlighted or brought to my attention orally until my next oil change there on 4/4/22. I spoke with the manager there about how this was an issue since Bretts repair was likely the culprit being soon after their fix. Then my engine light came on again for multiple issues repaired 4/14-4/18/22 including valve cover & ***************** engine charges plus the technician noted that the previous shop (Bretts) used an aftermarket valve cover that are known not to fit properly and not seal correctly. I went to Bretts today 4/20/22 to explain all of this and request a refund due to their faulty August repair but there is no record of my immediate return to their shop for the re-repair after leaving and he is claiming this must be related to my other auto repairs but they are not. I only requested a refund of $263.43 for Bretts faulty repair which needed to be repaired again and which I have records showing leaks as soon as 60 days after. I am now being charged 3x within a year for the same repair done 4x and ***** wont take accountability for his shops faulty repair.
