      On June 11, 2024 a transmission for a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. a check was submitted for the purchase and next day money was out of our checking acct. *** told me that due to check payment would delay due to way the payments are processed. Estimated delivery time was supposed to be 3-4 days. On June 14, 2024 i called to check status and they said order still had not been processed and that they were contacting their shipping to check status. *** stated that they would reach out to me when they had an update, was never called back. Jun 14, 2024 i called back to check status again and once again was told they would email shipping **** for status. I informed the sales *** the customer was n a rental vehicle and was not happy at the fact we could not get a time frame for delivery. Several days later and ETE still had not reached out and i called June ******* cancelling order and asking for a refund. Miraculously nearly 2 hours later they called back stating their manager found a unit and could send that to us. i declined due to the fact company at this time has followed through with nothing. July ******* called for status of refund and was told they would have to check with the manager to find status of refund. Currently we are *********************************************************************************************** refund for a product never received.

      We ordered a transmission for a **** dodge ****. We are mechanics. From the moment it was installed it didnt function properly AT ALL. We brought it down for diagnostics as requested by them. It sat at the transmission shop for close to 5 weeks. Thats after it took two weeks for an appointment to get it in the shop. I have been going in circles trying to get a warranty one sent out to us to replace it. At first we asked for a refund but realized the process they wanted would take far to long as we needed this truck running yesterday. So we decided to ask for a warranty one sent. Now they, ******** specifically, wont call us back when I ask and are requesting more diagnostics AFTER it sat at the shop for over a month. I had the ****** shop even call multiple times saying they are doing nothing but wasting all of our time, nickel and diming us and being rude. Its BS. Weve done everything theyve asked and they are just wasting our time trying to not send another one out. If this is not resolved in a timely matter we will be pursing further action.

      I filed a complaint against ETE Reman on the evening of Thursday July 20th. I received a phone call the following morning which eventually led to ******** saying shed allow a warranty transmission to be sent out. I was very direct when I told her not to contact the transmission shop any longer as the truck was not there and they would not be installing the new transmission. The truck was only there due to their request for diagnostics and it sat there for over a month as I stated in my original complaint. I reminded her the new transmission needs to be sent to my house just like the first one was because we are mechanics and will be installing this one ourselves just as we did with the first one they sent that was bad. Monday, July 24th we received notification it had been shipped. My husband was ecstatic as his truck has been down for close to three months WITH a new transmission in it and a good chunk of money out the window for nothing. I believe it was the following Thursday, July 27th I received an email from ETE Reman threatening if I didnt remove my BBB complaint they would withhold delivery. I messaged back stating Id be willing to do that once the truck is running and nothing is wrong with this new one and received no response. Fast forward to the morning of Friday July 28th which is suppose to be delivery day. I found out they are having it delivered to the transmission shop, who upon calling are now very unhappy and confused. I was VERY clear that ETE Reman were to have no more contact with Transmission Specialist and were to have it delivered to my home. Obviously they didnt care. So I called the shipping company to see if I could just pick it up myself and Transmission Specialist wouldnt have to deal with it. Upon calling XPO (the shipping company) i was informed they had just gotten off the phone with ETE Reman who told them to withhold delivery because they couldnt confirm the customer was ready to accept it. ****** that was innocent and they had no intention on following through with their threat or not I am extremely upset. Transmission specialist said they have no problem accepting the delivery for me but as far as Im concerned, that is besides the point. Transmission Specialist shouldnt have been put in this position to begin with. It should have been delivered to my home just as the first one was and as I said it needed to be multiple times. I do not appreciate their lack of customer service, horrible warranty process, threats, bullying, emotional distress and the list can go on. We ARE looking into legal options as this has cost us many hours, travel time, gas and emotional distress. Something as simple as getting a functioning transmission should not be this stressful and draining.

      This response is concerning complaint #******** From ********************************

      ETEreman remanufactures over ******* automotive transmissions an average per year. We sell mostly to national distributors, wholesale buyers and automotive repair centers.  On approx. 5/9/2023 an order was placed by Smart Parts auto of ********** **. Smart Parts Auto then resold a remanufactured transmission to ********* Ranch in ***** WA. The point of contact for the buyer, ********* Ranch would be Smart Parts Auto for any questions, concerns of warranty issues. On 6/16/23  ETEreman warranty ********************** was contacted that the transmission in question for a **** Dodge Ram truck maybe having an issue.  The vehicle owner took the truck  to a local transmission repair center for diagnosis and evaluation. ETEreman had no control over the response and long delay from that shop of the customer's choosing.  The repair shop contacted Smart Parts Auto with their findings, who then contact ETEreman.  The transmission had a diagnostic code for a transmission pressure switch.  This code could be a transmission issue.  Also, very common a vehicle wiring or transmission control module problem (external to the transmission).  After replacing the internal switch and more diagnostics and delays from the local transmission shop in WA. The customer contacted ETE directly about a replacement transmission or refund option.  At first a refund option was requested. That then changed to a transmission replacement option. ETEreman ordered a replacement warranty transmission to be sent.  There was no cost to the customer.  As or 7/31/2023 it seems that all warranty issues are resolved a replacement was sent and installed and appears to be working fine.  Please view the pages of attachments to see the call logs and specific issues with this response.

      We purchased a transmission through Best Buy Transmission who gets their transmissions through ETE reman. The transmission failed after only **** miles on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler that we purchased used. When we purchased the Jeep it already had an aftermarket lift and bigger tires. One time the technician **** told ** there was a one time no questions asked warranty then he refused because according to him the transmission was just going to continue to fail. This transmission was supposed to have a 5 year ******* mile warranty and coverage against manufacturer defects. They refused to do any troubleshooting to even see why the transmission failed and basically told us we were out over $2000 after **** miles! *** Im out another $4700 for the cost of a new transmission and repair at our local transmission shop. We even had the owner of the shop give us an estimate with the description of failure but they still will not honor their warranty. Their technician **** said it was our fault with the regearing and programming for the aftermarket components that were already installed when we purchased it. The fact that he honestly believes that the regearing failed the transmission but couldnt give us his proper way of taking the strain off of the transmission but swore up and down that regearing is worse on the transmission just gave us all a good laugh!

      On 3/39/2019 I had an ete transmission put in my **** ****** maxima at ********** transmission for $ ******* with a 3 ys ******* mile warranty on it . A yr and half later I had some shifting problems but the shop could not find anything now on 5/14/2023 I only have 5th gear I called ete and they said it's out of warranty. The car only has ****** miles now so the transmission only last 4 yrs and ****** miles is bullcrap I'm disabled and have cancer so I put the car in my son's name to drive me cause I'm not able to drive now and now I have no way to my cancer appointments and can't afford another transfusion or car . Thank you for nothing ete transmissions . Never will you get any of my money or any of my friends money

      ETEreman sold this transmission to ********** Transmission on 3/22/2019.  The warranty was 3 years or unlimited miles which ever comes first.  That being the case the vehicle is well out of warranty. However, what's wrong with the transmission?  Who diagnosed it? What is the shop information that checked it for you? Can you please send all supporting documentation to   ********************************.  There are many things that can cause driveline problems. Perhaps the problem could be fixed.
