I have known ****** Herrera for about a year and he told me he was a mechanic. I needed work done on my vehicle. I needed a new radiator , a condenser, and a emission canister. He told me he was licensed and that he had a shop behind his house. I then trusted him to perform the work on my car. I have a receipt that shows the deposits I gave him. The first deposit was on March 30, 2022 for the amount of $******, the next deposit was on April 6th, 2022 for the amount of $1*****.. He then put the radiator in my vehicle. I then gave him $ ***** on April 9th,2022. ****** then put the condenser in my vehicle. My last deposit amount was for $ ****** on June 20, 2022. I then gave him another $ 1***** on June 23rd, 2022. I was with him when he started the car for about 3 minutes. When he shut the car off he put fluids in a couple places. After that My vehicle would not start again. Now he refuses to work on my vehicle anymore. I paid him a total of $1,000.00. He must know that he screwed up my vehicle.Business response

I *********************** (******) did a job that another customer referred to me. I've never meet this person till March 30, 2020 when he told me if I can install somethings. He wanted me to install radiator, A/C condenser and Emissions control vacuum canister. I said ok I can install all three parts for $1000 and he agreed. I wrote up an invoice which he signed agreeing to those terms. The invoice will be attached to this email. Upon going to inspect the vehicle he never said that I would have to go pick him up and go all the to ******* to work on his car. Then on our way there he says that he'll pay me in payments and then I knew that with this guy theirs going to be issues. So we get there and look at the vehicle the vehicle been in a vehicle accident which I'll also attached to this email. If he thought that I was going to fix that kind of damage for only $1000 he's mistaken. I told him that we didn't agree on that and that he would need a lot more parts before the vehicle can be driven. He says just install what I'm paying u for. So I installed all parts and know he's saying that I haven't done anything or any of the work and he's not going to pay me the rest of what he owes. I also have the exact dates of the payments he made the first one was on March 30, 2022 for $300 next payment was on April 6, 2022 for $150 next payment was on April 9, 2022 for $50 and the last payment was on June 20, 2022 for $300 which adds up to $800 he still owes me $200. I've been having problems with this person who refuses to pay and is constantly harassing and threatening me that he's going to do this and that if I don't pay him back $1000 which I haven't received all he's trying to do is to see if he could get off on me and get away with it.
