Hello, On Augest 18, 2022, I took my vehicle into Manyo Motors because my vehicle was making strange squeaking noises. I spoke with an employee name ****. I told **** that I needed Shocks and ****** ****, said that he was going to inspect my vehicle and give me a call. When the inspection was done, he called to inform me that my vehicle did not need Shocks and ******, he said I needed to remove and replace Suspension Control Arm Lower and remove and replace Rack and Pinion Assembly. I trusted his professional judment and gave him permission to fix my vehicle after he assured me that my vehicle did not need the repairs I mention. When my vehicle was ready for pickup I made a payment of $2,634.36, I got into my vehicle and proceeded to drive off when I noticed my vehicle was still making the same noise. I mention it to **** he told me to bring it back the next day and he will inspect it again. I dropped my vehicle off the next day **** inspected it for the second time and told me I needed Struts and it would cost me $1,174.36. I am very disappointed in Manyo Motors and want them to repair my vehicle at NO charge.Business response

We quoted her on Struts in July of 2022 and she never had them repaired. She then came in in August with more issues from work that she had done somewhere else. All 4 lower control arms needed to be replaced that were previously installed at another shop where she supplied the parts and they ripped all of the boots and there was rust inside the sockets causing noises. The rack and pinion was so worn out the inner tie rod moved up and down about a 1/2". There were a lot of issues with the vehicle and those needed to be taken care of first. It took her almost 2 weeks of trying to get in touch with the other shop to find out if they could warranty the parts, which never happened. Once she gave the authorization it was almost a week before it got worked on because of our schedule. All of a sudden she is in a rush to get the car back. She kept trying to get here to get it looked at. When we told her about the struts she freaked out and said we will here from her lawyer. We received a letter. I was going to respond but then we got a chargeback from her from her credit card company. We provided all documentation to the credit card company and have not heard back from them. I am not sure how this is our fault when there was absolutely no way to hear a noise from the struts when there is rust and noises from the lower ball joints and the rack and pinion is bad. There was more than a squeak in the suspension. We are willing to work with her on the strut repair but not for free. She already knew she needed struts but these were safety issues.Initial Complaint

My car has been at their repair shop for 16 days they keep saying theyre going to look at it but every time I call and ask about the car they tell me they will do it tomorrow and they never do this has happened about 5 times. I took my *** in for routine maintenance on 8/20/21 with no leaks or warning lights on.Got car back on same day with low coolant light on. Opened up radiator cap to look in , radiator was bone dry. Unable to drive for two days. Took car up to shop on 8/23/21 for an explanation. I was told had a bad water pump.and that they (forgot)?? To tell me. They were supposed to check all fluids. I asked was work done And said they did the work including changing the oil with noticable fluid leaking and topping off fluids, they didn't even reset my dash lights. Had to take my *** to different shop for repair that could have been worse if driven. Would not have known in time if it wasn't for warning lights. Cannot believe work was done.
