  On July 6, 2022, Merino Concrete and Construction poured a patio and sidewalk at my address. When they finished (July 7th, 2022) he wanted the balance of the amount we agreed on. I said I would give a check to the contractor and he would get paid from him. He agreed. After closer look at the final product and workmanship, I had many concerns and dissatisfactions. I spoke to my contractor about my concerns and he said do not pay him. He must have connected with ******** Merino and that prompted a call and a visit from ********. I showed him all of my concerns and my dissatisfactions with the final project. I pointed out the places that had been patched, that seemed to have an unfinished edge, lacking color, and unprofessionally completed. The work up to that point--the removal of existing sidewalk and porch, forming and layout of what was to be done, and dedication to the job--had been wonderful. On July 21, 2022, ******** and I met at my house to discuss my concerns. He agreed to remove the portion attached to the driveway and repour that section or I could just pay him $1500 less. He agreed to removed the white marks throughout the entire projects surface, and place the color more uniformly around the entire stamped edge. He had his crew come the next day and tear out the agreed upon section. On July 25, 2022, I communicated with ******** asking him to hold off re-pouring that section until we could have in writing what would be done. On July 30, 2022 ******** met with me at my address and discussed what he would be doing. I wrote it down and he asked me to send him a text copy and his girlfriend would then get me a contract with that information and the balance. He stated that he would call me on Tuesday (August 2. 2022) to confirm when that section would be re-poured. On August 4th, since I had not received the paperwork nor heard from him about the date he would pour the concrete, I sent him a text asking him to hold off.

  I had contacted ******** Merino of Merino Concrete and Construction and together we worked out a solution to complete the project and agreed on the amount due.  

  
  

  As of today, September 14th, 2022, the project is complete to my satisfaction and I have paid him the final payment, the amount we agree upon.
