They will hold your money, customer service is garbage. They didn't care about you. They had a technical hiccup on my account and they're telling me it'll be 7-10 business days before I get my money. So not only can I not get deposits for this long I also have previous deposits that they refuse to deposit.CardConnect Response

I have never dealt with anyone with such horrible customer service. They are hard to understand and they are happy to transfer you to someone that can help and in the end they can't do anything. My problem is I cancelled my account and they keep withdrawing money out even after the cancellation date. Now the latest is 1500.00 for early cancellation fee. I tried explaining that it was a 3 year contract and it started 5 years ago, they just don't care. I'm going to write a letter to the ******** ******** Office along with copies of my statements and see what happens.Review from Henry H

ITS A SCAM/FRAUD COMPANY! DO NOT EVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY FOR MERCHANT SERVICES! THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR BUSINESS AND ROB YOUR MONEY! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO PATHETIC, THEY EVEN DON'T UNDERSTAND SIMPLE ENGLISH. THEY WILL JUST MISGUIDE AND HARASS YOU! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A FRAUD COMPANY IN UNITED STATES! Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Our records reflect that your newly boarded merchant account came under risk review due to the processing of multiple/repeated even dollar sales that were manually keyed with excessive authorization declines. During the review, our Risk Team was unable to fully validate your business and it began receiving fraud related disputes, therefore, the decision was made to exit the relationship and secure the funds in a reserve account to cover the anticipated chargebacks. Funds can be reviewed for release on 7/1/24. Please note this is NOT an automatic process and you must contact **************** at ************** for the account to be reviewed again to determine if funds can be released at that time.

I signed up for Card Connect merchant payment solutions. My business name is Symmentrix LLC with Merchant ID . ********************** withheld approx $23000 from my business without any proper reason. This is an entire month's income for my small business. I had to pay my business expenses out of this income which has become debt now!!. This has been an ongoing issue since May 10, 2024. I received an email from Fiserv Risk Monitoring asking for few transaction details, contacts for the customers, and business bank statements. I provided all these details promptly. However, I was not informed at any point that all funding would be frozen while the case is open. CardConnect also has not hesitated to bill me for their "services" during this period. There were no proper communication from them. When I contacted CardConnect to address the issue, I am told the only option is to speak with this agent at Fiserv and until that the funds cannot be transferred to my bank account. I have set up multiple meetings to speak with Risk control agent ********************* only to never receive a call. They do not respond to emails about the meetings, then falsely marks them as completed. After a week, The Risk Monitoring agent ********************* called me and informed your funds will be released after 60 days (July 3rd 2024) and account will be terminated. When I asked the reason, she told me I have exceeded the limit on my account. I requested ***** to send me this information on mail but she never responded to me. I have never seen such an unprofessional behavior. I've made every attempt to contact through email or phone transfers that I can think of, which is why I am now seeking assistance from the BBB. These faulty business practices between Fiserv and CardConnect have the potential to destroy small businesses like mine. If the issue is not resolved in a timely manner I will have to knock authorities and take legal action against this unfair business practice. ITS NOTHING BUT FRAUD/SCAM !!!Review from Michael P

Card Connect was charging my bank account starting January 2022. Every month they were billing as they were my Merchant Processor a different fees. According to them my business signed up with their sales associate Ignite Sales Group. In fact, I never accepted any offer from them , nor did I enter any agreement. Somehow they used my Bank credentials and were charging me money every month. They never sent me an invoice or a statement. They simply were taken the money from the account. My total damages exceeded $1500. It was impossible to locate anybody from Card Connect over the phone. They transfer all phone calls to India, and after given you 2 hours run arounds nothing gets resolved. Card Connect and its associate are clearly fraud and they should be investigated as such . I am sure there are thousands of small businesses who lost their money because of such fraudulent activity. Stay away and report them!!!CardConnect Response

Cardconnect is the worst credit card processing company I have ever dealt with in my 40 years in business. They are constantly charging additional fees besides the processing fee. The last straw was they just charged me a $285 annual fee they call Security Bundle. I canceled my service and they would not refund any of the fees.CardConnect Response

We have tried cancelling our service for months now. We finally had to contact our financial institution to block payment withdrawls and dispute past charges. There is no way to get a hold of customer service. Be AWARE.CardConnect Response

The classic business where you wish you could give zero or negative starts. Horrible company with capricious arbitrary policies. Despite having no basis whatsoever to be concerned that payments to me were fraudulent, they allegedly determined the payments were a risk and held $20,000 from me on a whim. Calls to the contact number were routed through somewhere with terrible call quality and frequently dropped in the middle of attempting to contact someone (I'm sure those drops were all by accident /s). I did not do my due diligence before signing up with this company. Shame on me! Don't be like me. Use a different company; any other company. Don't use this company. You may never get your money. I was only able to my money by calling in a DIFFERENT company that had some leverage over cardconnect. Awful company; frankly, awful people.CardConnect Response

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible customer service, horrible company that just takes money that is not theirs without any repercussion. Beware of this company they are thieves. Their customer service just routes you all over the place. I asked to speak to a supervisor and nobody would even speak to me and I had to verify my information multiple times to just get nowhere. I canceled not only because of the experience that I had but because the customer service was garbage as well. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.Review from Ling Y

Fraud. this was my first credit card service company. so there was no comparison until we find another company and looking at the detail, we found that everything the agent told us is not true. there are a lot of hidden charges. i canceled my service on the last day of January, but the agent postpone my cancellation day to the end of February. even though I do not use their credit card machine at all, and still got charged the service fee. And a few days ago, found out still got charged again in March. Fyi, Mike was my agent with this company. be aware of scams.Review from Amy P

Zero stars for the worst company I've ever interacted with. I own a franchise business where members pay me dues on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis. We've never had a chargeback in the 8-year history of the company. I signed up with Cardpointe, who processed just under $7000 in payments from members, but the money never got deposited into my account. After holding my members' money for a *month* they told me that my business type was too high-risk, and that they would be cancelling my account. I had to refund all of my members' dues, and scramble to find another payment processor. That was six months ago. As of THIS MORNING, Cardpointe/CardConnect is STILL attempting to charge my members - I'm getting emails from Cardpointe letting me know that a transaction has been declined. My members are emailing me asking why Cardpointe is still attempting to charge them. I have spent HOURS on the phone with various unhelpful reps who refuse to help me escalate the situation, and who give me the same scripted non-responses when I ask what I can do to stop this from happening anymore. HOW IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS?!
