On 09/17//2023 my wife passed away and I used the services of Milwaukee Creamation.I was told that I would receive a phone call to handle my wives creamation. I did the Docusign when emailed and no communication took place via phone, text or email. On 09//29/2023 I receive a phone call stating Milwaukee Creamation never received my paperwork and my wife is still at their facility waiting to be creamated. I paid the fees that was expected for services but no communication was ever given stating the service was initiated.Business response

I am very sorry for your loss and to hear about your experience with Milwaukee Cremation. We try to do what we can to make this difficult time a little more streamlined and simple for the families we are honored to serve. I am sorry that we made this difficult time even more difficult for you. Unfortunately, the funeral director that was initially working on your wife's case is no longer employed at Milwaukee Cremation, so I cannot ask him what happened. Looking at DocuSign's history of your wife's paperwork, we initially sent the paperwork to your email address on 09/18/2023. We resent the paperwork to your email address on 09/21/2023, 09/22/2023, 09/25/2023, 09/27/2023, and 09/29/2023. You ****** the paperwork and we received the ****** paperwork on 09/29/2023. The doctor ****** the death certificate on 10/03/2023. The medical examiner issued the cremation permit on 10/03/2023. The cremation occurred on 10/04/2023. I apologize about our failure to communicate with you during this time frame. As a token of our remorse, we will reimburse you $250, which is roughly 25% of our fee. I am very sorry that this happened.
