Back in January of 2023, my fianc and I hired ***** of Tremaine Wedding and Events for our upcoming June 2024 wedding. She volunteered to do my Save the Dates for me and knew I wanted them send out around Thanksgiving. She did let me know she was out of town that weekend but would be sent out shortly afterwards. I was charged $227.27 for 65 Save the Dates along with her requesting the other half of the amount owed for her services (in total $1584 was paid to her).A couple weeks later when asking about if Save the Dates were sent out, I got a call from ***** telling me that she ended up having a stroke and that she was currently in the hospital. At the time, she said that she had someone finishing up projects for her which included my Save the Dates. In the end, the third party she had hired did not do my Save the Dates and according to her she needed to them reorder them to send out. She told us that they would be out to people by the first weekend in February. Already two months behind when they should have been sent and four months prior to our wedding. On February 14th, I left ***** a voicemail saying I was disappointed on how things were being handled. Stroke or not she had a team of people working with her to help the situation. The last time myself or my fianc heard from her was February 9th. We texted and called, even reached out to her husband and their website chat.The contract signed by both myself and ***** states incidents not in control of the provider i.e. accident, death in the family, illness or sudden tragic circumstances. In such, if circumstances permit, the provider will obtain, upon approval of the client, a qualified professional replacement to fulfil the providers obligations under the contract. I also never terminated the contract, but seeing as she has been no contact for over a month would tell me that she has decided to terminate it. Which then I am again entitled to a replacement or my money back.Initial Complaint

Date of the transaction was 1/26/2024. The address listed is a random one in ********* because they do not share an actual address. I have the contract however I have not signed it yet. I sent this woman a $600 deposit on venmo. I then realized I am being scammed. She does not actually provide services that you pay for after reading all the horrific reviews on Yelp. I believe the ones she has on The Knot are fake reviews. I contacted her several times requesting my money back as my fiance booked a different coordinator at the same time. I have sent several texts and emails without any response from her. I have not signed anything with this woman and will not be moving forward with her. She thinks she can pretend to provide services and collect money from people without actually doing anything. This company is a fraud. She is deceitful.Customer response
