      On 7/3/19 after an onsight consultation, I signed a contract with Fresh Look Handyman (FLH) to do repair work on my leaky sunroom which included removing & replacing the aluminum siding trim around windows, replacing the rotting wood underneath, &  glazing, caulking & sealing everything. The work was completed on 9/12/19 & included a 2 year guarantee. The workmanship was pretty poor- the caulking was crudely applied & ‘gobby’, not smoothed down. The aluminum siding did not lay completely flat against the wood. By Spring of 2020, the caulking had pulled away from the windows in many places leaving big gaps and holes (for water to come in & rot the wood) & the siding was bulging in many places. I saw where he had used nails directly into the siding to try & draw down the bulges. When we got our first good rain the inside of the sunroom leaked all over the place. In early July 2020 I contacted FLH & spoke with the owner who told me I needed to contact the contractor directly, which I did immediately. After not hearing from him for 2 weeks, I called FLH owner back requesting her to do an onsite visit to see his work in person. She declined. So I sent her some graphic photos of it which she just passed onto him. After several no-show dates he eventually showed up to begin repairs on 8/20 & again on 8/25, for a short time each visit. I did not see him after that until 9/18 & he finally finished the job on 12/3 (Outdoor caulking on Dec 3??). By Spring of 2021 more leaks & bulging had developed. I contacted the contractor on 5/17, including pictures. As of Sept 30, he has not yet started any of the repairs or returned any of my latest emails or phone calls. Since May, more leaks & bulges have developed (of course).

      My total cost: $3159. At this point in time, I do not want Fresh Look Handyman working on my sunroom anymore. I feel the best solution here is to have another contractor come in & try to clean up the mess. If the condition it was in after only 1 winter was that bad, I suspect the whole thing will have to be redone within a couple of years. So I am requesting a partial reimbursment of my costs - 35%

      The painter did not know how to put drywall up. drywall & the paint was a mess never cleaned up after himself said he was just getting off parole. this company does not check their employees. When I told Mary Joe the owner about this she called screaming at me and said another one of her employees would come and I would have to pay $2200 to correct her employees mess please please don't hire this company they're terrible

      This customer had a small project done by us. We went back to warranty our work after she called with a concern. Our craftsman ***** went to her and she lied about the work and what was done orginally. ******** took complete advantage of him and had him working there for 4 days doing drywall repairs and painting. The owner was away in a different state and ***** was not able to confirm with the owner of the business the work that honestly should have been done and he kept working. After ***** was able to get in touch with the other craftsman who did the small job in the first place let ***** know he was being taken advantage of and did not agree to continue without some kind of payment to the office for the work she was making him do. He fullfilled the warranty work and tons more. ******* has no money and told him that. She was trying to get the entire room done that her deceased husband started. This is a very unfair review on ********* behalf. We do check all of our craftsmen over and over again regularly. If this customer had dealt with ****** she would have known how to spell her name correctly. Our craftsmen are very professional and are knowledgeable. Our craftsmen only are put on jobs for the work that they can accomodate. We are a licensed, bonded and insured company. Please look us up if you wish. We have nothing to hide. You can look up my license also. Customers that want free work done and find out they can't do that get very upset with businesses. We are not 100% perfect however we strive to provide the best experience for our customers.
