Comapny has been refusing to accept my request fir a reasonable payment plan for several ywars. They garnished my wages to the point that I spent over a ywar living on the streets. But then tacked on so much interest that I owe more than they garnished on top of the original debt. Wyen I finally had a stable residency again, and trued to wirk with them they demanded my foodstamp amount so they could calculate a higher payment.

THIS COMPANY RECEIVED FULL PAYMENT ON 1/8/2024 ITS ONE MONTH AND THEY STILL HAVE MY BANK ACCOUNT FROZE. RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE TO GO ON ** TO FEED MY CHILDREN THEY SHOULD BE FINED FOR HOLDING MY MONEY HOSTAGE.

Kohn Law Firm (a debt collector according to their paperwork) was receiving monthly payments (of which I have documentation to your agreement to the payment arrangement) for a debt that they purchased. They stopped the payments abruptly. When we realized this we called to ensure the payments continued to pay the amount due. They wanted more money. We agreed to a $25.00 increase. This continued for two more months and then the payments abruptly stopped again. We called again to make sure payments continued. The lady who answered the phone was rude and tried asking questions outside of her legal reach. She refused to take any more payments and hung up after saying she would take it to small claims court. See you in court with our attorney and documentation so you may explain to the judge that you refused payment for an arrangement that you agreed to. This will ensure we have a proper forum to engage in a subjective discussion regarding how this matter should have been handled and then you may acknowledge and apologize for any actions noted in this review . While we may not be your client you are the debt collector making the arrangements and no you do not ensure everyone is treated professionally, ethically, respectfully and most importantly, in accordance with all applicable laws. Placing stress on the professionally and respectfully. I would advise anyone to not make any arrangements with this debt collector and instead take it to small claims court.

The testimonies are so true. I lost my job during covid and have been temporary disabled and barely able to pay my living expenses. I get help from an outside friend and I explained to them that I could not pay the amount they wanted and they had the nerve to ask me to borrow it from someone to pay them. I think this is ridiculous to ask a person to due. I fell on hard times and you would think they would work with you but they dont. They threatened to put a lien on my home until payment is in full. So rude and decietful...very unprofessional.

This company (a male) started off by calling my employer and being extremely rude and harassing, asking when I worked nexted, contact information and etc. They went on demanding the information from my boss, since my informationis protected by law from my employer, he refused to give any of my information out. When I requested the contact information from my boss he only stated that they only left the name of the company... no call back number, nothing. When I google searched the name, I proceeded to call every one that was listed, all of which stated that they were not looking for me. I am now receiving unlisted numbers calling me demanding for me to contact them back, at all times of the day. I work 3rd shift and do not appreciate being called, woken up from an unlisted number that is marked as spam and or fraudulent by my cellphone provider, via my mobile phone protection. From these reviews I have read, I can see that this company has been harassing and doing the same stuff to others. All my work and personal calls have been recorded as well during this, if necessary I will be going to a court for harassment charges. For the fact of them contacting my employer, being extremely rude and demanding my information, which by law they can not give out. This company relies on bullying and harassment tactics, which in itself will lead to lawsuits against them. I know no other law firm that operates in this manner, it's a complete disgrace to see, and not even accredited by the BBB, I see why. Horrible service to the public, needs to change their ways or shut down.
