This person was taking my dogs out for almost a year. I trusted this person as he took photos and sent them to me and I saw his interactions with my dogs via my cameras and in person. I started noticing accidents in my house as well as my dogs being more hyper when I got home so I decided to keep a closer eye on my cameras. I noticed that one day he did not take my dogs out at all and that he moved the leashes to make it look as though he took them out and paid no attention to my dogs as he was on the phone and pacing throughout my entire house. I asked him about it the next day and pointed out that I saw it on camera. He continued to harass me and tell me I was neglecting my dogs and poisoning my dogs because one has allergies and was recently at the vet due to an allergic reaction to a new treat we tried (I assume). I wouldnt pay someone to help care for my dogs if I was neglecting them. I wouldnt take them to the vet if I was neglecting them. He proceeded to threaten me stating that I have something coming to me and continuously texted me into the middle of the night until I decided to file a police report for harassment. This man is extremely unprofessional and dangerous. I cannot prove it but the fact he brought up poison makes me think he was poisoning my dog because ever since I fired him my dog has had zero allergic reactions. I would never trust him around any animals, ever. The way he attacked me and my character and threatened me was disgusting. Ive never experienced anything like that from a business in my life.

******* booked with us for a 15-minute potty check and to also touch base over an alleged food allergy with one of her dogs to cookies she had bought for them. She even asked me to consider medicating one of the dogs if I felt the need or if she was still having a reaction. Upon entering the house, there were several areas of the main floor that were soiled with pee and p*** on potty pads, and also areas that did not have potty pads. As usual, I cleaned up after them. During this time in cleaning and making a few rounds to and from kitchen garbage, I noticed the cookies ******* felt were behind an alleged food allergy on the stove which was next to a counter that had benadryl medication on it. While picking up a harness for one of the dogs in the living room, I noticed illicit items on one of the tables, causing me to feel very uncomfortable which broke our Safety Policy. After taking a few moments to digest the working atmosphere and situation, I made the decision to end the visit. ******* texted me minutes after I left to ask if I had made it to the house, as I confirmed I was there and that I would be needing time to work on visit notes. The following morning ******* had texted that one of the dogs was still having a reaction to something and was taking her to the vet. After speaking to the vet and updating them with what I have seen at the appointment visit and the information ******* texted me, it was clear she wasn't being honest with medications. When ******* found out that I had spoken to her veterinary clinic is when the smear campaign and complaints started. This went against our Safety Policy and Client Responsibility in our Terms of Service agreement that she agreed to when establishing care. The Kritter Koncierge reserves the right to end and/or terminate service immediately when policies are broken or when work environments are not safe, or information given to us isn't completely honest. To clarify the camera comment as well, that information we knew as she indicated this during establishing care. ******* established care in December of 2022 with all 30 visits scheduled with 15-minute potty checks. There also were several times she asked for an extension on paying her bill which was always given to her. Until August 3rd of 2023, she rated each of the visits with 5 stars. Even though the visits were 15 minutes long I stayed longer usually to make sure duties were done. I am disappointed in the label of neglect as that is untrue and is part of retaliation due to the parameters of the termination of care that ******* felt necessary to place me in.

Business advised they will not be providing a refund.

      Customer response

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This gentleman didnt take my dogs out in multiple occasions. There was not just one occasion. Also I did not give him permission to call my vet and specifically told my vet when he called not to talk to him because I did not trust him. The Benadryl was there for her allergic reaction which is why we ended up going to the vet. Unfortunately the video did not save to the device but he can be seen giving my dog something and when I got home she was even sicker. The dog cookie situation was a whole separate situation than this instance I am referring to. Nothing pointed toward her getting sick other than this person. She was on a special diet and special treats for weeks because she kept getting sick and I could not figure out why. Magically, after I terminated this gentleman, she was fine and her allergies were gone. That is where the neglect and abuse comes into play. If you dont actually take the dogs out on a potty break visit of course they are going to use the bathroom in the house. I did not violate any policy as I did nothing unsafe. If anyone did anything unsafe it was this gentleman. I spent thousands in vet bills due to having to get hydration and meds on board for my dog at least three times while I had this gentleman employed and never again since hes been terminated. I think it is more than fair to ask for a settlement of services rendered versus vet bills.

      Regards,
