I started receiving physical therapy services from TheraDynamics Bayview, in June, 2023. I communicated at length when starting a new job, regarding my schedules/appt.'s. The new job entails working for a hospital system in which I'm unable to have my cell phone all day on the unit, except brief 30min access if I'm not working through lunch. I informed TheraDynamics of all of these ******** *** had set my physical therapy schedule through 8/30/23, planning ahead. I'd indicated how trauma-triggering & stressful it already is to have to drive straight there from work, IN RUSH HOUR, & that I need to ensure I'm driving safely, having been in 2 life-altering accidents at this point which left me with permanent spinal damage & other injuries from the 5-16-23 accident which I am still healing from (broken sternum bone & more). I've had staff call & leave messages on multiple days to inquire "if I want to come in sooner," KNOWING that I work a serious inpatient job & CAN'T come sooner. They'd indicated in the past when I'd explained how stressful it is to rush there in traffic, pending when I get out of work, that "just get here when you can, & don't worry about it." On my drive tonight, I called to indicate that I was stuck behind a big truck, would arrive 15min. past my time. ****, receptionist, kept me on the phone for over 5min. & said, "Oh, I'll see if you can even have your appt. tonight." That's a complete failure to follow through on past directives, it's completely RUDE & beyond INAPPROPRIATE to do that to someone who has already done a traumatizing drive to get services that are NEEDED, & then, when asking for the owner/manager's email/phone, staff refuse to provide it, trying to delay & play games. I continue to politely insist, they claim "**** will call you," & a restricted # came up/no VM left, no other attempt, which appears to be staff pretending to be him. Then, staff were LAUGHING about it as I left, when my PT asked when I'm coming in next.
