    We rented an apartment with Zolper property that my husband and I were great tenants to we paid our rent on time before due date all of the time, and were overall great tennats. We had told the property management company that we would be leaving but weren't sure if our house would be ready so we asked if we could go month to month after already having signed 2 leases with this company. So in my experience it is excepted to go month to month after been at a property for as long as we were. The owner strong armed us with saying the only option we had was to sign a 6 month lease. It turned out that our house was available within a month after us having to sign that 6 month lease. So we were given an option to do a sublet option that meant giving up half of our security deposit for advertising costs and other cost associated with getting the apartment ready for re-renting we agreed with not having any other option really. Then we were told that even when it is rented we would still be on the hook if something went wrong with the new tenants until our lease expired in August. Then we cleaned the apartment and was contacted with a list of things that still needed to be done, cleaning the cabintes,wiping out the stove, removing our personal belongings that we missed, mopping the floors and caulking all of the wholes in the walls. We emailed the company and told then the day that we would be going in and taking care of the cleaning and caulking and removing of the personal belongings. We completed everything, took pictures so that they would have verification of the list of things that they had asked us to take care of. We yesterday received a letter stating that we owed them ****** and that they are keeping all of our security deposit because of everything that they had to do and the list included the things that we had already done. So we feel that we are being taken advantage of because everything was completed by us. Charging us is fraudulent for work already done.

    Very shady landlords. The add never mentioned the apartment was a sublease. I asked to sign a 12 month, 18 month, or 24 month lease to accommodate the lease not expiring in the winter and to avoid the standard rent increase. They said they could not do that. And immediately sent a rent increase lease agreement after the end of the first month on the lease. Leaking ceilings have gone un-repaired. 2 stars only because they leave you alone.
