On June 27th I reached out to a lady named ************************* on ******** I noticed she was doing CBRF and even tho I wasnt interested I thought it would be a good way to have on my resume. As was talking to her my mom was next to me while we all spoke and she discussed alot of information that I was quite not comphrending due to my disability and due to my intense impulsivity disorder I paid for it right away 250$ was sent to her via Zelle. So the next few days go by and I started to realize that I dont think I can handle this class but I felt I should give it a shot due to me already paying for it and trying to prove the stigma that people with disabilities cant do anything wrong. However coming to the first day of class which was July 5th I was very overwhelmed by the structure of the class and again not comprehending what was being taught to me. later that day I called her and voiced my concerns my dad even spoke to her to. I started tearing up and crying explaining to her the context of my disability which I shouldnt have to. Anyway she told my father she would refund me my money so after speaking with someone I changed my mind and was going to continue the class as I just wanted to give it one last shot however I later told ****** on July 7th that I dont think its gonna work Im very depressed and basically my disability/mental health just by how she was teaching and the structure of the class it wasnt in my best interest to continue the class so I asked for a refund and she said she would give it to me I also texted her on July 8th and she wasnt understanding at all and told me instead of refunding me my full amount shell refund me half. I was trying to explain to her my situation Im in and why its not fair and she blocked me. on July 12th she paid me 150 but I didnt see it right away so I texted her telling her I will be filing a report and she calls me 8 times and threaten to harm me multiple times and now she is getting a restraining order on me.

      07/22/2022

I am writing in regards to a customer complaint filed with the ******************** of ********* on 7/12/2022.
In reference to the customer complaint by (**), Ms. ** reached out to me by phone regarding a promotion I had for recent *********** graduates to become state certified in Community-Based Residential Facility Training and to gain job related training after high school. This rate would be for the remainder of 2022's summer.

At the time of the call ** did have her Mother present by speaker phone. We remained on the phone for approximately 30 minutes, where each aspect of the class was explained to ** and her Mother who was present via speakerphone. During the call, I emailed ** the class registration form, which she and her Mom completed  together with me over the phone. The registration form clearly states terms, refund policies, and prior to each class full payment must be received. All students are to sign electronically that they are in agreement with each term outlined. My non-discounted rate for CBRF training is $525.00 for all 4 subjects *************************** ******** Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid & Choking). The form was emailed back to me immediately after completion (while on the phone with the **/Mother) with the desired start date of class. On the form, it clearly states "do you need any special accommodations?" There is also a  basic screening tool used for all class participants prior to class start. ** answered she did not need any accommodations, and she is capable of understanding aspects of the class.

She later revealed by phone to me, after teaching her a full class, that she had a mental disability, and wanted to cancel the remaining subjects. I spoke with her and her father, encouraging her, as well as offered her additional mentorship. ** asked for a refund at that time, I then agreed to return her money within 48-72hrs, but I then received a text later that day from ** that she didn't want to give up, and would be returning to class. At this point the full refund (which ultimately goes against my refund policy) was reneged by **. During this exchange/text I also allowed  her a day off of class, suggesting we would try shorter class times and slower paced teaching (to accommodate her disability),  as well as to collect her thoughts.

The morning we were scheduled to return to class, I received another text from **, stating she did want to do the class again. I had already shown up to the center prepared for class, prepped and printed class material, as well as notified the state that I would be teaching a CBRF class. She was then notified that she would not receive a full refund. ** began calling and texting at inappropriate times of the day and night, during other classes I was teaching, sending threatening text messages, etc. I later wrote her by text explaining to her that I have to be accommodated for the time I did spend with her as well as prepping, and that I was making an exception to my policies for her which I do not do. Giving in to her customer demands again, she was informed, I would be willing to refund 1/2 of her money. She became angry once again, and began stating things about her traumatic experience as a child, her medication, her therapist, etc that had nothing to do with the issue we had. I asked her to have her parents call me, but she texted they did not want to speak with me. At this time, ** had only completed part 1 of her ************************* course. Medication is a two part course.

Lastly, this is where I enforced the conflict of parties policy that ** had agreed to prior to beginning any courses. ** continued to send harassing messages. I asked ** to please stop texting and calling me, emailing me, and  to stop sending Zelle payment requests with threats such as "send me my money scammer, my lawyer is on speed dial " and more.
I let ** know that  she would not be receiving a full refund, that I would be filing a restraining order, and to never contact me again.

Ultimately, I did send her a partial refund by Zelle (more than 1/2 of the already discounted amount) , blocked her contact, and I have not heard anything regarding this matter until receiving the letter from the BBB of *********.

Please see policies here for registration  https://forms.gle/1NDETFgKJFmKEVBt6, and terms the customer agreed to.
      Respectfully,
      CCHTC- Management.
