I booked a trip with ****** Hendree of Hendree Travel Escapes August 2022. I paid Hendree, as travel agent. She was to book 2 rooms for my family, at the Royalton in *******. We were going June 29-July 3. My room was $4082.08 (Invoice-745295). I was also paying for my parents, *********************. Their room was $2680.00 (Invoice-745298). Hendree Travel Escapes was to provide "luxury accommodations-all inclusive" and "round trip transfers to & from *********** International Airport." We were going to ******* to attend a wedding. I paid the monthly invoices, on time. I started paying in August, at time of booking. In January, I was told that the wedding venue changed. My family and I had already paid a good portion of our invoices, so decided to move forward with our trip. We NEVER cancelled our reservation. I was having difficulty contacting the travel agent, so called the hotel to make sure are room reservation was still present. I called the hotel on January 30, and was told that there was no room block and no reservation had been made. I was able to get in contact with ****** Hendree once after that. She texted me "...I'm not sure if you're aware but the bride and groom cancelled the wedding and all the rooms in *******. Depending on your circumstances your travel insurance may be able to reimburse you for your payments you've made up to date..." At that point, I asked Hendree to call me. I did not cancel our rooms, and nobody can cancel rooms that they did not pay for. I paid for a good/service that I did not receive. Since then, Hendree has blocked my number, not returned any calls/text messages. I attempted to resolve this issue with her, and she's not been cooperative. I attempted to dispute charges, as Hendree refuses to cooperate. Per my bank, Hendree told them that I agreed to the charges. She did not inform them that she failed to provide the good/service. I desire my $747.75 refund.
