Date of service was 6/14/22 My dog was neutered by this vet clinic and 4 days later his s****** got enlarged to the size of a grapefruit. I call the vet and took him in. I was told that I could choose between more antibiotics or surgery as he could have a bleed from the first surgery they did. I choose the surgery because antibiotics was going to take care of a bleed if that's was the problem. I was to get a call after surgery which never happened. I was quoted 200 not including medication. I was told by my son that he called and was told he could be picked up at 8pm. When I arrived I was shocked by the **** of ******. I asked to speak to find out what was the problem with my dog and he confirmed it was a bleed and it got infected. I don't believe I should of been charged anything for the surgery has it was their fault for not doing the procedure correctly. My dog has now had two surgeries instead of one. My dog it now paying the price with pain and discomfort and I'm paying twice. I would like to be reimbursed for the ******. Thanks

I took my dog to the vet. I had to wait two hrs for her to be seen. I gave my instructions what I wanted. They took my dog in the back away from me. Now my dog is not herself. Why would you not want me to me to see what you are doing. I asked about why she is scooting. The vet replied her glands. She's still scouting. I asked for the shot for the kennel. The vet squirted a bit in her mouth because moved. Why wouldn't she finish the whole dosage. She is being very emotional, lactating from her *******. Seems like her hormones are everywhere. I have been calling but I get left on hold. I asked to talk to a vet never could. Now this is the part that gets me. Never asked me one time whats My name or my pets name. Since she had a new shot I thought it was a side effect. Called and said I should have brought her back right away. Once again never ask for my name or my pets name to see if it was a side effect it or have a vet call me back. Now she said I have to pay more money from something I can't get a explanation for. If that's the case why go to the vet. She was fine before you took her in the back. All the take her in the back, not even asking her name or mines. Can't talk to a vet. Sounds likes they are messing with people's baby's/pets for money. Now I have to take her somewhere else because of this I paid money I didn't have for them to do this. I need your help. She didn't anything wrong. I'm just trying to follow the law and make she's healthy

In response to this complaint: Any reaction to a vaccine usually happens with in ***** hours.  Usually clients are advised at check out.  This client called after 26 days of giving the vaccine and complains about a reaction to a vaccine.  The client is advised that it is not related to vaccine reaction.  This is another health issue for his pet.  The client is advised to bring her pet for an exam. Our clients wait in the lobby while our doctors do procedure on a patient. So client was not in the exam room while *********** cleaned the **** glands.  Our technicians verify and make sure that they bring a right pet in the exam not our doctors.  For your records, I am attaching the medical records for the services provided.  Our doctor followed the right protocol and didn't do anything wrong.  Due to pandemic, we are very busy and there is a 2-3 hours of wait to see a doctor, so our doctor was not able to return the call to this client.  Our technician and receptionist was able to answer the question for this client.

Please let me know if you need any other information.

      Thank you,

      **** Kaur

I am unable to send the information until I confirm the client information. The client number from the puppy book sent in the complaint attachment is the same we have in our records.  Can I call you? Please see attached records for the puppies in question.  I would like you to confirm the information of this client as it is different in our system than in the complaint reported. Our DVM provided the vaccines to these puppies, they were healthy when ***************** gave the vaccines.  To get full immunity from Parvo, the puppies need to get 3-4 series of vaccines over the three months of period starting from age of 6 weeks.  The vaccines are given at the age of 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks.   We can provide CCTV footage for the time this client was in the exam room.  There is an incubation period of upto 10 days after  puppies get exposed to Parvo.  If the puppies got the vaccines on 3/18/22, they will not be fully imminue in few days. Likely that these puppies were already exposed to Parvo, but they didn't show the symptoms til later.

Please call me if you have any questions.

We sent all the records to BBB that shows that we provided the vaccine and we have CCTV footage when client was in clinic and when our DVM gave the vaccine.  I will mail the flash drive as I am unable to load it in the email.  The file is too long. The client called the clinic before they filed the complaint with BBB saying that we didn't give the vaccine.  Now we provided all the information requested by the client to BBB.
