We have done business with lindstrom equipment for many years. We bought a new Gehl skid steer from them in 2020. While it was still under warranty in the fall of 2022 we brought it to lindstrom to be looked at and we were told it needed all new injectors and it would be covered under warranty. Went without the main piece of equipment for our business for 3 weeks. Ours was fixed and we were told that the repair was going to be covered under warranty. 3 months later we got a bill in the mail for over $9,000. Went back and forth with Lindstrom and Gehl to try to resolve the issue. Were told our fuel company should test our fuel and that we probably got bad fuel. Our fuel test came back good and our fuel company wanted to test the injectors themselves, we were told the injectors weren't available to be sent to our fuel company. We were then told that we didn't change our fuel filters as we should have, yet we had receipts of all maintenance and filters we purchased and when they were replaced. Then were told that we should have only used Gehl fuel filters instead of carquest filters. Gehl under good faith covered $2,500 of the bill and Lindstrom wouldn't help us out at all UNLESS we purchased a new piece of equipment with them. Lindstrom then lied to us and told us that they were the ones who paid the $2,500, when i have invoices showing Gehl covered it. We paid $4,000 of the bill and presented the offer to them of us all paying 1/3 each way and Nathan ********* refused without us buying a new piece of equipment. We have paid well over 1/3. The owner Nathan ********* has gone to the point of ************ ** ***** ********, who they do business with as well. There was no communication that the warranty company wasn't going to cover the bill until the work was completed. I would not have had them perform the work and would not have ended up with a $9,000 shop bill with them. Lindstrom did nothing in this situation to take care of their customer.
