I bought a fridge online that clearly stated it worked well in the add. After receiving the fridge I found out that it does not work properly. The fridge will not cool below 52 degrees. Also lots of condensation on window. I called several times and was promised calls back and a solution. I have not received any calls back or a solution.Business response

On 8/2/2021 I put a down payment on a auction I was high bidder on on the website Wisconsin Surplus Online Auctions. Verbally on the phone Daryn Goodwyn (introduced to me as the owner) of Wisconsin Online Auctions took my credit card number and charged my card. He did not share ANY terms for this down payment, only saying he agreed to 10 days to pay the balance of 8377.50 by the 9th of August 2021. I agreed and ordered the check from my broker for the balance. On August 8th my wife had a medical condition and was rushed to the hospital. Her condition prevents me from the ability to complete the transaction and finalize the deal and take possession. She is simply first for awhile. I know that they have sold the item to the next bidder in line from talking to Steve at McFarland High School. They sold it to him within minutes. I do not believe that Wisconsin Online Auctions has the right to keep my $1000, they didn't share it was nonrefundable before taking down payment.Business response

I have been in contact with *** and we have come to an agreement – see attached email. I have refunded Dan, please help him hold up his end of the deal by removing this complaint.
FYI – *** bid on and won a CNC Router from us for $9,377.50 with a payment deadline of July 28. *** called and asked for a payment extension. I agreed extend him payment deadline in exchange for a $1000 non-refundable down payment at the time of the call. He agreed – We sent the attached invoice with the agreement noted – On August 9th *** indicated to us we couldn’t make payment and he wanted his $1000 returned. We refused – So he made a complaint to BBB, left bad reviews on social media and has been very difficult to deal with.
*** – made the deal and was OK with it from July 29 to August 8 – But on August 9th he couldn’t perform and here we are!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Mr **** was very kind when I explained the circumstances regarding the payment of the auction item. We agreed on a fee for his hassles and he refunded me the balance promptly. He may even allow me to retain my bidder number, I have used Wisconsin online surplus auctions many times and I have some great equipment for my business. Thank you Mr **** for your kindness and helpful actions during this delicate time for my family.
