On 5/17/22 I paid Rock Solid Curbs $280 as a down payment to install a landscape curb on our property. On 8/5/22 Rock Solid Curbs installed the curb, and the following day I contacted the company to notify them about concerns we had with the install. See Initial Complaint.pdf. My wife received a voicemail from one of their employees which did not resolve our issue. I was never contacted by Rock Solid Curbs. On 8/15 and 8/16 I had the landscaping around my house fixed. On 8/17 I emailed Rock Solid with a more formal complaint (see Rock Solid Curbs 00.pdf) and explained the steps we took to fix the landscaping around our house. I received a response on 8/19 which had no steps toward a resolution. I sent one more email trying to mediate the issue and I have not heard back from them. See Complaint Email Chain.pdf. On 8/23 I paid the remaining balance of $1,143.30.The pictures on Rock Solid Curbs website show the product they sold us. It shows the landscape curb placed immediately next to the landscaping rocks. The estimate and work proposal we received Estimate.jpg gave no indication that we should expect otherwise. It was only after we paid a deposit and immediately before the install, they said they would be unable to place the curb on the edge of our landscaping. They **** lines where my wife was led to believe the outside of the curb would be. After approving the lines, she left home before the crew started working. When we returned home, we saw the curb in its entirety was placed outside of the lines Rock Solid Curbs **** and over a foot away from our edging in places. The installation looked ridiculous and required us to complete another landscaping project to fix their install. We had a reasonable expectation their product would look like the pictures they use to market it. It was only after the install we learned the pictures they use to show their product are after additional landscaping costs and not after they install their product.
