      I have been going to them for years. Very trustworthy and Scott informed me throughout regarding estimates, diagnosis and timeframe. Scott explained repairs done to my car in a way I could understand, is always friendly and accommodating- They even picked me up from home when my car was ready! Always recommend them.

      This is a review of their automotive repair department. We went to Frey with our Buick Enclave because of transmisson issues. With the prices of used cars these days, we were willing to consider repairing the vehicle vs. purchasing a new car. Three weeks ago we were quoted $5500 but could go up to as much as $7000. This was a verbal discussion, of course nothing was in writing. Three weeks later, with very little communication on their part, they let us know the Buick is ready to go. During this time, if we enquired on the status of our vehicle it was all on our part. The most we were told was "not ready yet, check engine light is on now, we're trying to figure that out". So today my husband goes to pick the Buick up and the total is $9,500!!!! Almost double the original quote. We never would have spent that much on a 2010 Buick! We were not even given the option of agreeing or disagreeing to this price. Most reputable businesses will call and say "Hey, we found this wrong with it now, it will now be this much....." . Or even better, have us initial off on a quote. Not ONCE was this offered to us, only verbal quotes. The best part of this poor business practice is when I called to express my outrage, "Scott", only argued with me about how he never said "$5500-7000", I said "$8,000". Now they are insulting our intelligence as we NEVER would have agreed to that much on repairing a used car. But of course, there is no PAPER trail to this quote because they put nothing in writing!!! We only have our word against his and he is LYING. So, this is my first review of any business but didnt want anyone else to go through what we did, especially with how hard times are these days. Inflation is not keeping up with wages and this is very hard on our family.

      I'm sorry you had a bad experience with our service department. We do work hard to take care of every customer. I spoke with my service manager and he spoke with your husband every time about this 2012 Buick. The only time he ever spoke with you was, quote- "when I called to express my outrage". From the beginning we expressed how much the bill could be and were actually trying to discourage your husband from fixing it. The vehicle had at least 8 codes in it to start, pointing at the transmission and timing chain being bad along with several other components. We informed him that we would have to fix those two major issues first then travel down the repair road to fix any other issues that still need attention. We quoted your husband $8,000 to start and informed him whatever else it may need would be more. The vehicle was never here before and seemed like it hasn't have any sort of service for quite a while. That is why we were discouraging any repair. He gave us the go ahead on repairs OVER THE ***** as do many people to get their work done. Many people don't live or work close to us so that is the normal procedure. That is the normal procedure at most shops. We received the car on Friday October 13th and told your husband we wouldn't look at it until the following week. On Monday we evaluated the vehicle and that's when the previous stated conversations happened. We ordered the new transmission from GM which took a few days so we started the work on the vehicle the beginning of the following week. After getting the major repair done and reassembling and programming the vehicle we were able to diagnose the remaining issues with the vehicle. That took us through the week and was finished the beginning of the next week. All in all we had the vehicle for a little over 2 weeks. Considering the state of disrepair the vehicle was in that was completely acceptable. We are saddened that the first time you came to us you got so upset over our service. If we knew this was going to happen we would have insisted talking to you from the beginning especially since you told us your husband was hard of hearing.

      I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but its needed. I'm writing to express my deep disappointment with Frey Automotive, where my daughter purchased a car last year in August of 2022. Unfortunately, since the day we drove the car off the lot, it has been nothing but trouble and has required constant repairs. In fact, we have put in at least $5000.00 into the car, a cost that has been a significant burden on our family. Despite these issues, the worst part of our experience has been the complete lack of customer service provided by Frey Automotive. When we contacted Johnny to report the problems with the car, he was unhelpful and dismissive, even going so far as to claim that the warranty was null and void due to a $500 discount that had been given at the time of purchase. To make matters worse, Johnny failed to respond to my last email, leaving us feeling ignored and frustrated. Overall, I cannot recommend Frey Automotive to anyone who is considering purchasing a car. The poor quality of the vehicle and the lack of support from the dealership have been a huge disappointment, and we have been left feeling like we made a costly mistake. I urge anyone who is thinking about buying a car to look elsewhere and avoid the hassle and stress that we have experienced.
