My husband was admitted for observation on July 17 in rm.570. Everything from the emergency care to being admitted was done professionally and with care. The staff in charge of him: Dr.******, nurse Claire, LPN’s Kandi and Emma showed care and concern, going above and beyond to make sure our stay is comfortable. We commend them all!Review from David P

Since start of July 2024 I have all of a sudden started getting emails from Thedacare asking for prepayment for estimates of medical cost for appointments as far out as Jan 2025. In 19 years with Thedacare they have never asked for prepayment. What's going on? This will cause a lot of anxiety for some folks. This may be legal, but ethically I have issue with it. I pay for services once received and will not be prepaying a dime.Review from Janice J

The billing system is awful. People be aware and please watch your statements from your ******** and insurance DO NOT SEND THEDA CARE MONEY YOU WONT GET IT BACK IF YOU OVER PAID THEM .Review from Jen C

Word experience of racial profiling and mistreatment, misdiagnosis based on one piece of information, I have ever experienced iny entire life. Was left sitting in an ER room for hours with a child. Upon discharge things were said that we'lre highly inappropriate and much disregard for the presence of a minor. NEVER AGAINReview from Dillon G

Yes , I have been seeing doctors at Theda care for about 30 years . This year I have been seeing one doctor out of many that have come and gone . ( Mostly bad ones ) I have to warn the public these people are scammers they tried to bill me $500.00 for a 20 minute session , that is $25.00 per minute !!!!! They tried to explain that was due to adjustments for inflation ? They never told me and should have . I can say that only one small story . In the past some of Thedacare's doctors have almost ****** me l two times because of there incompetence , they tried to treat me for a case of (MRSA ) , and did a horrible job . Some so-called doctor from ***** tried to see me about this and , did not test at all , I found out through my wife that it was ( MRSA ) I got ride of that flesh eating bacteria , only form the help of my wife , once I got ride of it they wanted to send me to a specialist . I told them why I got ride of it already . Well I told them , beyond y better judgement , I'll go and see this so-called specialist . Well needless to say they gave me a VERY STRONG ANTIBIOTIC , and I ended up in the emergency ward from Hemorrrhaging internally , that cost me $5000.00 out of pocket , when I called them they said there is nothing they can do . I am getting to the point where I am finding these so-called doctors are scammers they don't want to fix what going on with you . They just want to keep , you coming back so they can charge you over & over again . They are scammers and it's all about the money . One other case was for my back , they never fixed anything and spent $30,000 from 4 doctors and never fixed anything ! To this day I recommend that YOU SHOULD BE VARY WARY of any doctor from Thedacare ******Review from Jay K

Thedacare at Home representatives to include their Supervisor "Stephanie" are underperforming as a Thedacare unit. RE: Cpap and supplies from 4/19 It has been a four month process to simply update to a new face mask that I have used for four years now. First delay was getting an appointment with Fox Valley Pulmonary due to the length of time since seen. Met with my in-person contact at Fox Valley Pulmonary and orders were sent to Thedacare at Home. I was under the impression that once orders were received and reviewed, a new mask would be sent. I stopped in several time at Thedacare at Home located in the clinic wing at Shawano Hospital. Most often this room is not open nor staffed. When I was lucky enough to find the store open with a staff member, I was informed that I need to call Thedacare at Home phone number to order a new mask. I called 800# and placed the order. Then I receive a phone call from another representative who leads with, "We need to find out what's going on. We looked at all of your information and discovered that machine was only in use 2 times in 30 days??? THAT IS INCORRECT INFORMATION. 9 years of data and she makes the 2 times in 30 days statement. What arrives is not the mask but the nose pillow. When I called to inform Thedacare at Home of the error, I was told that they were not able to bill insurance for both. Supervisor Stephanie calls with the same sentiment. I virtually screwed because the package is opened. Not able to return due to package opened only to find an incorrect product. When she calls, she announces that she listened to all phone calls leading up to this point. Again she wanted all responsibility to fall upon me and it would be a $250 out of pocket direct patient bill. Fox Valley Pulmonary representative made it clear that Thedacare at Home has many issues. Thanks Stephanis and Team Thedacare at Home. If you don't believe CPAP to be a life or death proposition, look up Reggie White's demise. Bye!Review from Carolynn W

Thedacare in Berlin lacks patient care and turns away patients because they have "6 people waiting" ahead of us. I will not be going to Thedacare in Berlin in the future nor any other Thedacare facility.

I truly don't get their outlandish price gouging. You seem more than likely not to wind up with a Dr and I haven't run across anyone who is board certified. Maybe just the CEO. I am not sure. I had to look it up to see if they were for profit or not.

Green Lake Dr K********* is a poor excuse for a doctor. He has no empathy or compassion. He needs to get his bedside manner checked. I had the worst experience of my life with him. He also goes online and tells everything you told him in confidence. I guess he never heard of HIPPA. Theda are Care should get rid of him. He does not like senior citizens so if you are older I would not go to him. He has no training on how to relate to an older person. He is a poor excuse for a doctor. He also likes to cold turkey people off their medications without a plan to help them. He will write online humiliating things about you. There is something wrong with him and he should be sent to a psychiatrist. DO NOT USE HIM AS A PHYSICIAN, HE IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR.

I scheduled a Covid test. They called to register me ahead. They could not tell me if I would be billed for the test, so I canceled it and did some research. I found that all tests are free. I called back to reschedule my appointment and they would not answer the phone. That was Shawano, Wisconsin. Very poor business.
