      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The response from Bergstrom was not in any way a resolution. They diminished the value of my vehicle by crashing it. It seems like the business response was towards the mechanical side of my concerns. Those are being handled by another dealer.

The business response fails to take responsibility for the ongoing issues they caused by damaging multiple panels on my vehicle.

Please see the attached document for breakdown of the businesses response and further detail.

      Regards,

Again, no attempt in resolution. ****'s only offer is to cover up that a reportable crash occurred. How many other vehicles are they doing this to??

I'm open to them purchasing the vehicle for what I owe, since they are so confident or they can pay loss of value including full interior and exterior detail with ceramic coating at a detailer of MY choice. (Mine was originally ceramic coated last spring (2023) before they crashed it)

I'm not sure why ****************** is so resistant to doing what is right and compensating me for THEIR mistake. Just because that was repaired at no cost to me, doesn't mean it won't cost me in the long run (i.e. rust issue, loss of value, etc.)

      Regards,

Thank you for admitting there is a loss of value. (Worth with no damage).

**** told me he would reach out to me after last weekend. That has not happened. Please have him do so.

I am an extremely reasonable person, however, this experience has been unacceptable.

I have been more than happy to work on a good resolution.

Since ****************** refuses to help me, only responds to what he wants, and only points me in the direction of ****, I will be leaving this as rejected until **** can come up was a satisfactory resolution. ****'s only offer is to hide the fact they crashed it. That's not acceptable.

****************** wants me to be reasonable, however, no one at Bergstrom has been reasonable with me. Unless they consider hiding the crash on car fax as reasonable? I sure hope they don't do this to other vehicles they sell people. I was extremely reasonable with them at the start of all this. With the games they are playing, of course I should be frustrated. I'm sure they would be too in my situation.

Regardless if they remove it or not, I am extremely honest and have all of the photos of the damage BERGSTROM caused to my vehicle.

Hopefully by the end of this week, **** will come up with a satisfactory conclusion to this mess. Otherwise my next step is a lawsuit. If I go to that step I will come for much more. I am not going to be bullied or have my time wasted any further.

      Regards,

I purchased a 2020 Jeep Trail Hawk from this dealership on October 28th of 2023. I noticed that headlight had a crack in it. After going back and forth with the dealership they said they would fix it, I got the vehicle home and noticed there was damage to the front bumper of the vehicle and that was never disclosed to me and was a safety issue. After going back and forth with the dealership they said they would fix the damage. I brought the vehicle to their auto body shop to get a quote, they told me they would have to order everything and told me they would contact me once everything was in. I called November 30th to the dealership to see if they had a loaner vehicle for me to use after a battle about that they said they would have a loaner vehicle for me. When I got to the dealership on December 1st to drop off my vehicle, they didn't know anything about be getting a loaner after a battle with that they gave me a loaner vehicle. The vehicle they gave me was a Grey 2023 **** 150. I drove the vehicle from December 1st to December 20th. I went to and from work to my girlfriend's house in *******, to pick up my son in *********** ** and the to my cousin house right outside of ********* **. Did a walk around the vehicle with my mother and girlfriend this morning and there was never any damage to the vehicle I dropped the loaner off at the auto body shop in ******* at around 835 am took the few items I had out of the truck, the truck was filled with a full gas upon return. No walk through was done with me with dropping the vehicle off. I got a call from the dealership at 136 pm saying there is damage to the vehicle and how we wanted to proceed it was very upset because I didn't cause any damage to the vehicle. The service person did disconnect to call. I have had nothing but issue with Bergstrom from the word go.

My car engine was blown in June of 2020 it was under warranty and the warranty company paid to fix it at that time in 2020 I was not given the option from bergstrom to pay the difference for a new engine I was told I could only have a used engine . On november 23 the new engine I received 3 years ago was blown again and bergstrom refuses to ware an engine they put in that should last more then 3 years . Also per the warranty company the engine was from bergstrom and was not supplied by the warranty company.

Hi I understand my warranty has expired but because of the actions of your employee I was not given the option to pay the difference for a new engine and was given the used engine . A engine should last longer then 3 years and should be warranted by the company that selected and installed the engine.

The service technician did not give the option to pay the difference to purchase a new engine . We were not even aware that was an option until I received the records from the warranty company . Even if the warranty company only paid for a used engine we SHOULD have been given the option to pay the difference. I would like to get this matter resolved soon.

This incident happened March 15th, 2023. I took my **** ******* Towncar to Bergstrom ******* in Neenah, **, for an oil change. When I took my car in, everything worked fine. I just needed an oil change. When they gave me my car back with the oil changed, I had absolutely no rear suspension working at all. My car has air suspension and there is a switch located in the vehicle's trunk, which requires the mechanic to manually switch off before the car is lifted up to be worked on. If this is not done, it will wreck the rear suspension air bags when the car is lifted. The dealership is denying any responsibility for damages, even though they admitted it happened there. They destroyed my self-leveling rear air suspension when they changed the oil and they refuse to do anything about it. I've spoken to the Service Manager and he's already washed his hands of it. They'll be happy to repair it at my expense though, that they told me. This is not right. The dealership should pay for what they broke while my car was in their care.
