******************* was contracted to put on a screen porch to our existing home. The roof lines were under pitch angle for warrenty of shingles. I questioned his putting on regular shingles, I felt it needed a rubber roof in the cricket area. He insisted that shingles would be fine and would not listen to me. I told him the roof is going to leak (I am a retired *********). He said if it leaks I will come back and fix it. The project was completed 2.5 years ago. The first leak happened within the first year. He did come back and fix some of the shoddy workmanship of the roofers. Last year it leaked in the spring and I thought it was just because the roof had sheds from the maple trees budding and it got backed up. In January we had a lot of snow and then a rapid thaw. It started leaking again. I shoveled off all the snow and it leaked for a few more days because water was trapped somewhere in the roof. It continues to leak every time it rains. I called ****** during this leak and he said "I am going out of business, you have to call your insurance company" and hung on me. Insurance will not cover shoddy workmanship. I have contacted a roofing company and they are going to come and redo the roof with roofing for the angle (rubber roofing) and fix and replace all the other shoddy parts of the original roofing project. This is going to cost me $9200.00. I feel ****** should be responsible for this repair and he refuses.Initial Complaint

FRAUD OF $30k. contract signed on September 5, 2023 to Sun Comfort Sunrooms for a 3 Season room 200 model. Owner (*********************) cancelled the order on February 8, 2024 to Sun Space without notification to us and no refund of the $30K.I called Sun Comfort on December 7th, 2023 to follow up that everything was on schedule and ****** said, "Yes, everything is in place and we're on schedule for install in March" I called Sun Comfort on February 6, 2024 and ****** told me that I need to speak to ******************* about the status of my contract" On Monday, February 12, 2024 I called ******'s cell and spoke to ******************* (owner of Sun Comfort) and he said that he has closed the business and can't refund any money, and a judge will decide who gets paid. I have been in contact with a rep from Sun Space (supplier) and we were told that ******************* owes their company $281K. There are other customers that have orders cancelled without a refund. Sun Comfort Sunrooms owner ********************* Phone: ************. ******* claims he has health issues, however we found out that he was in *********** last week. Note: during this whole time the SunComfort Sunrooms FB page has been running ads and promotions portraying that they are in business, and all is going well.
