this happened two weeks ago, after we agreed on an estimate $2100.00 with this company to come in and level out an area with gravel to park my van, also bring in fill and topsoil to level out along one side of the driveway with fill and topsoil. also seed this area. he ran out of gravel, he ran out of fill and topsoil, so he could not finish the job. we talked and agreed on $375 for more materials and for him to finish the job. he left, promising to come back and finish. i then got an email saying he now wants $1100.00 to finish the job. we emailed back and forth, he told me to find another company, that we taking advantage of him because he is a small business. so the job is sitting there, not done.Business response

I have evidence including emails and written quotes that can explain my side of this misinterpretation. I will be sending pictures in a separate email. A long with that, I have photos of the work I provided and also the customer expressing satisfaction in an email, which included a tip.Customer response

[Please type your response here.] i have read the response, i don't see anywhere he offered a solution to the problem. i will send in some pictures of the unfinished work this week. i will also explain the pictures he sent. like the first picture shows his est on notebook paper. at the top of the paper, left of the shed, he shows an area i wanted filled and leveled. he has drawn it to be square like i wanted. on the second picture he has it tapered, because he is running out of gravel. also we expressed satisfaction, and gave him a tip because we agreed on an amount for him to come back and finish the job. we did not pay that new estimate.

I do not see any future solution possible, as I will not work with these customers anymore. I refuse to provide a service for disrespectful clients. Therefore, I have terminated them as my client, and I will not do work for them further down the road. This all stemmed from them not accepting a $1,100 quote, which is more than reasonable. I have been doing work for months, and this is the first unsatisfied customer I have ever had, which wasnt even due to poor service.Customer response

[Please type your response here.]he did very poor work, there is a 12 ft by 12 ft area he was supposed to fill with gravel and level, never put one piece of gravel in this area. the gravel is so thin in the parking area, i can see the dirt.

This will be the last message I send. Customer had expressed satisfaction at the end of my service. Tip was also included. They did not accept my second quote to do more work, and I will not lower my prices to satisfy them. Nor will I do more work for someone so disrespectful and stingy. I offer great services at highly reasonable prices. This is the last time I will say I refuse to come to a solution that only helps them in the end. I will not let my business be walked on.Customer response

[Please type your response here.]we expressed satisfaction and tipped him when we though he would come back and finish the job, after we accepted the 2nd estimate. not the 3rd when he raised the est by $1100.00 as far as good work, the real contractors that built my garage, and did the concrete work, laugh at what he did, and then would not finish the job. also these contractors that have been in business for years, not months like ******, say we are great to work for.
