My *********** credit card was charged twice for our order: My husband paid w/his card then walked away to get soda; the employee told me it looked like the charge didn't go through, so I paid with my card. Both charges went through on May 7, 2024. I noticed this a few weeks later and returned to the store at the beginning of June (2nd?) to request a store credit in the amount of double charge, $*****. I was told that the manager needs to approve this by calling credit card *** to verify, and left my info, including summary of incident. I waited about a week, didn't hear from manager, so returned to store. I was again told that manager would contact me, but to allow a week since manager was vacationing. I waited over a week, then contacted ** Customer Svc via phone on June 25, speaking with ****. **** took notes regarding incident and said I should hear from store owners within 24 hrs; **** emailed follow-up to me. I waited 48 hrs then contacted **** again via email on June 27. I requested refund and add'l gift card for the troubles. Via email on June 28, **** apologized for having no contact and again stated he would contact owner. I have not heard from manager or store owner, I have not received refund for double charge.I am asking for a refund of this charge (*****). In addition, I believe the store manager/owner should offer a gift card as a token of goodwill since the customer service and follow-up by management has been severely lacking.
