Last fall they okd me making monthly payments on a service they provided me. Ive been making my monthly payments as planned, but out of the blue last December I received a letter from a collections agency. I contacted spring green and they apologized for the mistake and told me theyd fix it. Long story short, Ive made 2 more payments since then (last payment was made over 3 weeks ago, yet the check has yet to be cashed) and have received 3 more collection letters. I attempted emailing them again - but now the messages are bouncing back as undeliverable. Ive used the contact us page on their website - no reply. Ive called at least 10 times - no answer - just an automated operator who leaves you on hold every time. *** asked for my future 2024 services to be canceled and have no idea if theyve gotten that request and obviously want to stop receiving collection letters. Im due to make my last payment to them next week.Customer response

The location in question had a PO Box in ********* and I was also given a physical address of ****************************************************** That is where my 2nd to last payment was mailed per their instructions.
Well I came to find out that this branch basically went out of business. Their customers were taken over by a different location. I have no idea if they ever received the payment that I sent to the 9th St address, but that check has yet to be cashed.

I requested and received lawn care treatments last year which I paid in full at the beginning. They provided lawn care service this year which I didnt request. When they got a hold of me by phone I told them I didnt request or want their service this year. They said they automatically enroll customers from the prior year into their program. Shortly after that conservation I received a notice from ************************* *** trying to collect on the service from Spring-green that I did not ask for or want. I dont want to pay for a service I didnt request. Much less a service which wouldn't have been to my satisfactionBusiness response

Thanks for making us aware of your concerns. We understand that auto renewal can catch some new customers off guard. We do communicate from the outset that this is our practice. In your instance, we contacted you before beginning services on 4/21/23. We also notified you before doing two follow up treatments on 6/5/23 & 7/12/23. In addition, statements were sent throughout this season requesting payment. We immediately discontinued service at you request on 9/1/23. Our position is that you had opportunity to cancel much earlier in the year instead of allowing us to continue. That being said, we are willing to negotiate a settlement if you like. Please give us a call at your earliest convenience. Thank you and we look forward to speaking with you soon.
