*****************, who identified himself to us as *************,placed an order under an account for Cork Towns Collision (*****************************). The credit card information he provided was declined authorization. According to our standard credit screening process, when credit cards are declined, we require the customer to wire the invoice amount before releasing the order.

This individual called several times and was rude and combative with our customer service and finance representatives. Looking into the matter, we identified another account associated with the phone number this individual provided this one for Corktown Collision with the contact listed as *****************. The invoice for that account was not paid, and the owner of Corktown Collision (*******************, actual address *****************************)disclaimed knowing who placed the order. 4imprint wrote off the balance of $7,177.44 and flagged the account as potentially fraudulent.

Unfortunately, our industry (promotional products)increasingly has become the target of various scams. We have instituted measures like our credit screening process to avoid becoming a victim of them. The number of red flags raised about the order at issue necessitated that we receive payment in advance before its release.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[that is actually incorrect. ***************** is the owner and registered agent *** Is the manager of my business if you want to go that route i can support all Michigan bussiens Licnese documentation and everything in regarded to that. Your agents have all told me otherwise and refused to take a credit card. I dont feel comfortable. Sending you guys a wire that is nonrefundable or Disputable with Bank if there is any fraud or anything in that matters for my safety, thats why I wanted to use a debit or credit card and I informed you that we had to have the bank on the phone to get the authorization because of daily spend limit. They refuse to comply with what I am requesting I will be suing them in court.

      Regards,

      *****************

Please note all information is attached to this claim. On May 3rd i ordered 50 drawstring bags from **************** which is the sister company of 4imprint. At first i was provided a number that wasn't tracking and was given the run around regarding that. I finally received my items on May 18th and as soon as i opened the package i noticed a problem.A. They were nothing like what the photo appeared to be on their website. I know this because i spent lots of time actually trying to figure out what the real difference was in the fabric used based on that and the description. These are like paper/fabric and they've applied direct to film transfers to them.B. Every single one had the line falling off from the logo, if it hadn't already C. Every single bag had press marks D. Some were pressed so crooked they were unuseable I immediately say down to message them. As you can see they tried to blame it on the fact it's a promotional item and basically told me tough. The next time i get offered 10% and still told it's not meant to last forever even though clearly i understand that. Now after threatening a claim i'm offered 30% and told it's my artwork. It's clear they can't decide on why they don't want to refund my money but this is unacceptable. If there was an artwork issue they should've let me know that so i could make changes. They knew these were falling apart when they sent them out and they think that's OKAY behavior!

**************** sucks! I messaged to ask for color code to design. The color on website mockup looks different from the color code option. So I wanna make sure the color of burgundy is not so black as the mockup, but more red like the main color base options. They said I have to order first which is more than $100 to get the detail color code options??? So I ask do you know the color options on website is close to the actual print...And they said: "CAN YOU READ WHAT I JUST TYPE?" Thanks! Wonderful
