I would warn anyone about using one of their storage units. There was a mice and animal infestation and they destroyed thousands of dollars of my property. They refused to take any responsibility even though in the lease it states they are responsible for the maintenance of the premise, structures, etc. They also placed piles of wood chips they use for a different business right outside my storage unit, knowing that wood chips attract mice and animals and admit to not doing any sort of pest control even though that would fall under maintenance of the structure, premise, etc. I then brought this to their attention and they refused to respond and referred me to their lawyer. They were quick to point out they are not responsible for damage, but refused to address the fact that pest control would be part of maintenance and that that violated the lease because they didn't do any knowing that 1) there is a risk of it 2) you have materials right next to the units that ATTRACT mice and animals, not to mention it is close to a field. As of today, their lawyer has not responded either. I want to make clear I am not talking about a mouse or two. This was an infestation, including other small to medium sized animals. I paid for 5 years to keep my stuff "safe" and did what I was supposed too do as far as keeping my unit clean, etc. and they did not do their part which caused me to lose probably 75 % of my items and then also having to pay for a junk removal company to remove everything. I have videos and pictures and video of the sound of animals in the ceiling. The junk removal people also sent a letter stating what they saw and the condition of my unit after the infestation and the damage to my items
