    After moving into our new house last March, we had a dehumidifier malfunction causing water damage to our carpeting. Service Master came out and said they would pull up some of the carpeting and put some small fans underneath. They did not believe that anything more needed to be done. Staff came in and ripped up the carpeting and put a large dehumidifier on our laminated floor in our kitchen area as well as the fans. The tubing that was draining into the kitchen sink somehow leaked down onto the kitchen floor and damaged our laminate flooring. The owner, *****, of the company, came out and apologized and said that it was all their fault, and that they would make it right. I have tried for several months to get resolution to this problem but the flooring is still a mess. A gentleman came out and had me pick out a laminate flooring a couple months ago, but has not been given the OK to put it in by Servicemaster. I am now being told that ***** is in ******* dealing with hurricane damage, and she has turned the business over to a gentleman who is not taking action on it. Ive been in contact frequently with a woman by the name of ******, who has been sympathetic, but has stated that she is just putting me off because she has no ability to resolve this.

    Service master did a terrible job and refused to give a discount when we had to call them back for services not originally completed when prior agreed upon. $900 some dollars to “clean” an apartment we had mostly everything out of except a bed and chair. They didn’t dust, clean out cabinets or clean off window sills and we had to deal with them leaving after 4 hours and calling them back to have the manager come and be condescending and deny things he had said to us in the midst of our family dealing with our aunts passing. If was so much unneeded stress and lack of empathy as well as lack of our dollar worth and hard earned money to send in two kids who had no communication from the manager and spent 40 minutes in their van smoking and on their phones. Worst experience ever!
