On 8/23/2021 I received a violation notice to clean up my yard. That notice had an end date of 8/30/2021. So I completed everything on the list by that date. I assumed since there was no further action taken that that was the end of it. I have a constant flooding problem in my yard. My yard is the only one in the trailer park that floods and the manager has known about the flooding for years. I have ask multiple times a year to have it fixed with no reply. On 9/26/2021 I sent an email with the concerns that I had about the flooding. I was told my email was sent to the district manager who would be getting back you me soon. 10/6/2021 I received an eviction notice for the 8/23/2021 violation. The park manager is unwilling to speak to me at all. She will not answer my calls.Business response

After review of the complaint and speaking with the community manager, District manager and Regional vice president, we are committed to cleaning up this community, we are not simply just talking about household items in the yard we are talking about trash and cigarette butts littering. This is the first home when you come into the community and therefore the first home that anyone sees when they pull on property. We do have a drainage issue there that we are continuing to work through with an engineer. However, if their yard was unusable then how are there children playing in the yard. We have given multiple violations to get the lot cleaned and back in compliance with the lease and community rules and regulations, we have given violation notices to several residents throughout the community to clean up the community. I have attached violation notices along with photos of the home and lot. MHWI Edison estates does not discriminate nor do we retaliate against residents, or employees. All employees are required to go through yearly Fair Housing Training. Please reach out if you should have any further questions or concerns. We take pride in offering affordable housing and we love that the residents enjoy a peaceful, clean community to call home.
