We stayed at the Baymont from 10/14/21- 10/17/21 for a wedding. It was four adults in the room. When we checked out, our **** stated we were charges $150 for smoking marijuana in the room. Three of us called the manager ***** and explained we absolutely did not smoke weed in the room and the charge needed to be removed. All four adults in our party get drug tested for their professions and would be fired if we ever did smoke. I explained this to her over the phone and she claimed they saw smoke come from the room, the smoke alarm went off and the room stunk of weed. All of these are absolute blatant lies because we never lit or smoked anything. I tried contacting corporate and they said that this location is franchised so they couldnt help us. I wrote a very negative ****** review but that doesnt get us a refund or keep them from scamming other people the same way. I want a refund and an apology as well as someone looking into how often this company makes money off of this lie.
