I want to start out with my complaint against Van **** Dodge because of the bad vehicles that we got from them. First vehicle worked all right for about a year then end up taking it to get a recall done on it and after that recall it was just electrical problem after electrical problem after electrical problem nobody couldn't figure out how to get it fixed. We contacted Van **** about that they took the vehicle back and we got another one a newer one. And that one was even worse than the electrical problem wasn't even 3 months that we had it that the head gasket went out leaked antifreeze into the engine it caused so many problems. Now I don't even want the vehicle anymore and do not want to deal with Van **** permanently right now I would like to see that vehicle just taken back and resolve this issue. Cuz when they gave us a loaner for when the vehicle was being fixed The loner was even worse yet. Cuz when I had the loaner check engine light came on the next thing you know the next day driving it home 5 miles from my house loss of engine power. And to be honest I swear they sell defective vehicles. I don't even want to be a customer with them anymore. They want to help but they can help by taking the vehicle back it's not worth my time taking it back and forth to a shop to get it fixed every time. So I'm following my complaint cuz I just don't want to deal with it anymore. I explained to the general manager what was going on with my truck and he went to the owner of the company in spun every word I told him around to turn it against me and I explained what happened to the truck to the general manager in complete full detail. To be honest lying to somebody else to cover up your mistakes is more like throwing fuel on a fire. This truck is an absolute ticking Time bomb from Van ****. And I'm afraid if I get another vehicle from them same thing is going to happen and everybody else has been telling me do not go back down there.Business response

On June 10th, 2020 the customer purchased a 2015 RAM **** with a ******* miles on it. The customer had concerns with the vehicle and on November 26th, 2021 out of good *************************** Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram offered to trade the customer out of the 2015 RAM **** with ******* miles, taking a significant loss ($8,500.00) on the trade ************************** Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram offered the customer $2,500.00 over the original purchase price for the 2015 RAM, agreeing it was in grave mechanical condition. The customer then purchased a 2019 Ram **** with ****** miles on ****************** took a significant loss ($8,500.00) on the trade difference. After the sale, the sales person made three courtesy calls to the customer to check in (November 29th, 2021, December 3rd, 2021, and December 29th,2021) on each of these outbound calls the salesperson was unable to connect with the customer.
On January ********* the customer brought the vehicle in for service with ****** miles for a mechanical concern and in good faith the dealership did not charge the customer for repairs (please see the attached document referencing the repairs) and provided courtesy transportation free of charge while the repair was being completed. At this point the customer has not had any out of pocket to repair or provide themselves transportation.
Out of good faith the dealership did do what they could to trade the customer out of the 2015 Ram **** and worked with the customer on the cost of 2019 Ram **** and the vehicle repairs. Van Horn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram feels we have made more than a reasonable effort in providing support towards the customer with their transportation needs and cannot provide any additional accommodations at this time.Customer response

I ***** and **** just purchased a 2023 Ram l1500 limited from ************************ and havent received our purchase yet of the vehicle. We are filing this complaint due to not receiving the vehicle. We feel they are stalling with the purchase. We would like the vehicle next week with no delays. Also the money was fulfilled and transferred over. If you could reach out to me anytime after 3:30 that would be appreciate.
